"Wir waren nur für 1 Übernachtung dort und haben deshalb nicht alle Angebote wahrnehmen können. Wir wurden im Nebengebäude untergebracht. Das fühlt sich schon ein wenig wie "abgeschoben"an. Auch hätte die Dame an der Rezeption erwähnen können, dass es dort oben auch einen separaten Parkplatz gibt und uns nicht Koffer und Taschen eine lange Treppe nach oben schleppen lassen. "The property is located in the Old town where almost all sightseeing are. The atmosphere is very cozy."

"Ruth, the owner of this lovely hotel made us feel like family. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast included a variety of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, marmalade, yogurts and fruit, boiled egg, juices and Coffee. A great breakfast to start the day. The bed was very comfortable. Very hot in summer. Aircon ineffective

"Had challenges getting into the building in the evening as the instructions were difficult to get into the building itself. Out of hours support outside of the building wasn't clear until we got into the block. It also wasn't clear you can park the car in the car park and go up in the lift with your digital room key. The biggest issue was when we got into the room the air conditioning wasn't effective and was too hot to stay in. Things to note: We visited during a heatwave, so the place maybe fine in winter. Residents in the block confirmed the excessive temperature was the norm however. The information on connecting to the WiFi was also incorrect and there was no information or help guide in the rooms (something id highly recommend once the temperature of the rooms and communal areas is rectified). Once these issues are sorted the apartment is furnished to a very nice standard."

Great location and excellent breakfast

"The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance to the train station, grocery stores and a discount store. Make sure to walk to Rheinfelden, Switzerland, which is a very nice, underrated town. The breakfast at Hotel Danner was among the best of our 3-week European escapade. The staff at the front desk was excellent, especially the young man whose name I wish I remembered. He gave us very good advice about Basel. I definitely want to go back to Hotel Danner."

"This was a top class property. The room and all facilities were modern, clean, and in perfect working order. The location is amazing - a short walk to the lake, a great walk around the lake, and a fantastic castle/museum just down the road. The only issues we had were: There was no Enlish version for the self-check-in process, so there was a bit of guesswork. This made finding our room a matter of checking all the doors with the access card. The email with the room number only arrived sometime AFTER we found the room. The pillows were far too soft - they did not support my head. And the coffee machine in the lobby did not work. However, I would stay there again - Great location and amenities."
