you could consider the West suite a little more private with the kitchen area inside but You will also hear the waves crashing. See the turtles in front of your vacation Suite. Enjoy the wonderful warm Pacific Ocean, the waves crash in the winter and the calm bay is ideal for snorkeling in the summer. In the evening You will See many dive boats doing the famous Manta Ray dive, you may also see sea turtles that are often seen sunning themselves on the shore or will join you for a leisurely swim. Awaken to the songs of red cardinals, saffron finch, and grey morning doves. Leisurely lounge by your swimming pool and enjoy beautiful pristine and relaxing Hawaii . This property is an ideal location for enjoying The Big Island. This ocean breeze Keauhou Suite is located in a well established small community of homes built along the edge of He'eia Bay. The beach is beautiful lava rock, dotted by white coral and several black sand coves. The two Suits have large lanais with lounge chairs, and dining sets for four, and large gas barbecues with burner, comfortable, king-size beds, and 42 inch smart TVs. The kitchen has a sink, counter top, medium-sized refrigerator, microwave, electric frying pan, toaster oven and various dishes. No stove, or oven. Full bathrooms, shower, toilet and wash sink. The suite was as described, which was the perfect size for the two of us. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful, and the walk to the beach just took several minutes. I would highly recommend water shoes once you get to the beach, as the shore is very rocky. Paul was very communicative and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Such a beautiful place to stay and we will book again.

Beautiful view, pool, near by beach and suite. The location was spot on, near a gas station, pharmacy, great food options, etc. Paul was great, couldn't have asked for a better host. 5/5! We visited Hawaii for our honeymoon and to make it short we were not tired of it by the end. Book the trip.

Could not ask for anything better

Accommodation’s were top notch! Shopping and restaurants close by along with snorkeling and manta ray tours right around the corner. The pool and grounds were impressive with unbeatable views of H-bay. Well worth the price and Paul was a wonderful host!

The Views!!

Perfect little home pad for our stay on the Big Island. Paul was amazing with communication and the property was delightful. Pool and hot tub were just the extra touch to a yard that provided the most amazing views! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous Property

Paul and Kay are very gracious hosts. Their property has a gorgeous view, a large fish shaped pool, and is immaculate. We will definitely stay again!

Great place

Very clean and comfortable, close-in but with solitude, fantastic view. Overlooks Heeia Bay which is virtually a wildlife refuge. Paul has supplied several conveniences - beach chairs, beach towels, portable cooler, binoculars. No stove/oven, but we made do easily with the grill and microwave. Never turned on the air-conditioning - ceiling fans worked great. Delightful stay.

Piece of Paradise

This is our 4th year staying at Paul’s place. If you’re looking for the in town party scene this is not your place. If you are looking for peace and quiet with easy access to everything don’t pass this place by.

Great ocean view, beautiful pool, a relaxing stay

This property is in the perfect location to access all of the fun things to do in Kona. We loved swimming in the pool and just relaxing outside in the warm Kona temps. The mattress was just right. Paul has thought of everything to make your stay great!

Definitely a favorite place to stay

Our stay at Paul and Kays' home was amazing! They were such wonderful hosts, and their apartment was super clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning sea view and a well-maintained pool and sauna that made us want to stay longer. We can't wait to come back and experience it all over again!

A little getaway

Oceanfront Apartment in Quiet Neighborhood

Property was clean and well stocked with needed beach, cooking and laundry supplies. Paul and Kay were gracious hosts and their normal routines on the second floor did not detract from our relaxing below in the apartment. Beach/bay access a very short walk on prepared trail. Rarely saw others on the beach; great snorkeling with at least a dozen types of fish. Swimming pool was very clean and available during daylight hours. Will return in the future.

Blissful and Peaceful

We have stayed in the East and this time around, the West suite. No difference and the view and its surroundings are exactly the same and truly stunning.There is some needed updates of the kitchen utensils but this is not as important. Paul and Kay is a very thoughughtful host and we value their hospitality and accommodation. It is a perfect place to those who wish to claim peace and treasure God's wonderful creations. Great place

We had not been to the Big Island in years.Trying to figure out where to stay was a bit overwhelming. Thinking about location, we were very happy with the convenience of this place. The pictures of the residence were accurate and we enjoyes hearing and seeing the ocean from the bedroom. Paul and Kay were very responsive and even though we did not spend a lot of time in the rental, we appreciated both the welcome and the saying our goodbyes to this very lovely couple.

Clicked all the boxes

This apartment clicked all the boxes for us. It was quiet and private with large pool and hot tub. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the birds, flowers, sunshine and perfect view of the bay. Small kitchen and large outdoor grill made it easy to cook most of our meals and enjoy eating alone on the patio. Comfortable bed and clean, modern bathroom for a relaxing stay. Location was perfect for visiting beaches, snorkel locations, cultural sites, and restaurants and markets. We would recommend and would visit again when traveling to Hawaii's Big island.

Paradise 🌴

We enjoyed watching surfers, kayakers, whale spouts, SUP, boats, crashing waves, and sunsets from our chaise lounges on the grass overlooking the bay. What a view! Quiet, residential neighborhood, yet close to a shopping center with grocery store, restaurants, etc. The unit was well-equipped — laundry room including detergent are a welcome feature. 10/10 would recommend!

Peaceful and relaxing

Very quiet and convenient spot. It was an easy base to go exploring (with our rental vehicle) as well as a lovely spot to relax. There was lots of good snorkelling spots within a half hour drive. Paul was extremely helpful but also gave us our privacy. No other guests were there so we had the pool to ourselves. The kitchenette was perfect as we had already been travelling for a week so had had enough of eating out for all our meals. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet private place to base out of. It was exactly what we needed before heading back home.

We arrived on our honeymoon and Paul and his wife welcomed us with hospitality. In addition to the fact that their house and the view are simply crazy!!! Everything was so clean and tidy. Beautiful Escape

We had a wonderful time here at Paul and Kay's home. The view, the pool, and the quiet neighborhood were all much appreciated and enjoyed. Great location! You have everything you need (although a stove would have been nice) to make your meals. The electric skillet worked great for morning eggs and when not eating out, we used the outdoor grill for steaks and chicken. We even became friends with the renter's next door and went out with them to a show in Kona! While here, do not miss the Nighttime Manta Ray Snorkel! We booked with Sea Quest which is just a few minutes from the home. It was unbelievable! Actually, when you are not out in the water with them, you can see the boats in the water from the rental. We were sorry to leave.
