Kimo's Getaway

  • This a very private duplex. Your host lives upstairs. Your's is a new two bedroom, one bath unit, with a full sized kitchen and adjoining dining area. . There is a large veranda viewing the ocean with plenty of relaxing chairs and an outside dining area.
    You will be a 7 minute walk to Honl's beach and 22 minutes to city centre Kona.
    Infants (persons two years and younger) are considered guests.

Very comfortable property with everything that we needed for a short stay in Kona. Easy communication with the host and convenient location. Make sure to make the short walk down to the beachfront to see an amazing sunset!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kimo's Getaway. The neighborhood is a little rough looking but the property itself was wonderful. It had everything we needed and very comfortable.

This vacation spot is the one. We loved it. The photos wont do it justice. The view was better then expected. Jim was a great host he has some great coffee that we drank every morning. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Thank you Jim for a wonderful stay.

The location is near to a small beach & restaurants. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has a variety of seasoning & utensils. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch with a view of the ocean, above nearby rooftops. There was good cross-ventilation & ceiling fans, which was helpful since there is not A/C here. Jim was helpful & easy to communicate with as needed.

Tropical getaway

Fantastic property

Great location for a quick overnight stay. Checking in was quick and easy. Accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed. There is even a free roaming chicken that came to visit. We would stay again.

Perfect!

Jim’s place was perfect for our week vacation! The view, the space, the amenities and location were perfect. I would stay here again! My teenage boys enjoyed it too!

Best part of our trip

We LOVED this property! This was our probably 10th time on the island and we’ve stay so many different places. We all agreed this was by far our favorite spot. So relaxing and convenient and Jim was the most excellent host ever! Can’t wait to return next year!
