Excellent location, view and accommodations

This was an excellent spot to post up for a couple of days in the Kailua-Kona area. Avoids a lot of the traffic off Ali’i Drive and makes it easy to get to a ton of places on the island. The breeze at night coming down the mountain is great natural air conditioning and the yard is gorgeous with a plenty of adorable geckoes and anoles to spot. Toby is a laidback and friendly host, would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet well kept residence

The home was redone recently so kitchen and bathroom were beautiful. The beds are great! Temperpedic mattresses. But the backyard was the showstopper! Beautiful and large with gas grill and patio! Just to clarify, the turn to iwalai Street is hard to find and navigation was confused!Loved the stay

Pros: The backyard is spacious and lovely, great for a hangout! The living room is also spacious with plenty of room. There's a lovely view of the ocean. Parking is easy. The bathroom is beautiful and the home is decorated with thought. The inside has a rustic charm. Cons: Shower was barely warm, the host claimed it was due to solar - however, the knob did not even work. Initially was advertised for 8 people when we booked, but it was changed to 6. There is a modular sofa on a wood floor, so it slides easily, which doesn't make for a good night's sleep. The other sofa is not long enough for anyone over 5'8" to be comfortable. There is a musty smell. There are open windows, so be prepared to hear frogs and roosters. There is an expired We are glad we only booked one night - you get what you pay for.

This was such a great space… awesome view of the sunset/ water and the backyard is incredible! It has a really cool beach vibe and comfortable for our family of four. Enjoy!

Beautiful view

Nice breezes, great backyard with BBQ. Just above the main town. Tobias is very knowledgeable of the area and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our stay, would recommend.

Confusing to get in. No glass on the windows. Used soap in the shower. No expected ammenities like soap and coffee. Live Lizard running across the wall. Shower only had very hot water... could not control temp. Bedspread was very worn. Dangerous steep driveway with pothole.

Emplacement parfait et sécuritaire

L’hôte a été très courtois et facile à contacter.Le logement a une vue superbe sur l’océan et magnifique couchers de soleil. La cour est grande et belle. Les lits étaient propres et confortables. L’emplacement est parfait, proche de tout et on s’y sentait en sécurité.
