Our newly renovated cottage is the perfect getaway located in the heart of Kailua. Light-filled and breezy this is the perfect space for one or a couple, just minutes away from the beach by foot or bike. Walking distance to Kailua Town. If you need flexibility in your travel plans and special needs please send me an inquiry.

Located in the world-famous beach community of Lanikai, in the town of Kailua, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, there are two highly-rated beaches within minutes. Kailua Beach Park is a 4-minute bike ride (bikes provided during the stay!), 14-minute walk, and 2-minute drive by car. Lanikai beach is a 5-minute bike ride, 175-minute walk, a 3-minute drive. Lanikai is noted as the best sunrise in Hawaii and the most scenic beach in America. The Mokulua Islands offshore from Lanikai have been included in numerous advertisements and movies. You can kayak out to them and explore the island on the left. Between these natural attractions and the comfort of the Studio, we promise you will enjoy your stay.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, and the living room is fully furnished including a stylish sitting area all recently remodeled and decorated in 2022. For your entertainment, we provide a flat-screen TV with WirelessTV. High-speed internet access is included. The Kitchen has all the amenities including a full-size refrigerator, microwave/convection/air fryer oven, coffee makers. Split Unit AC. High Beam Ceilings allow natural light in. 2 ceiling fans.

Newly added private double gated door entry- 8 foot gates open to your own 12 x 12 deck, furnished and beautiful garden with 20 foot tropical palms and birds of paradise.

Seahorse Studio perfect location and very Relaxing!

We stayed at Cindy Eastman’s Seahorse Studio for a peaceful and relaxing stay on Oahu. Perfect location! Far enough away from Honolulu but driving distance to Pearl Harbor, Diamondhead, swimming and snorkeling. The town beach is actually very nice! Lots of local restaurants and shops but make sure you pay parking meters! Cindy is helpful and knowledgeable, the studio is clean & comfortable. You will enjoy your stay in the Seahorse Studio!

Cindy's studio is an amazing place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and be near beaches. The amenities were exactly what we were looking for and the bed was comfortable. Would absolutely recommend staying here for some r&r.

We felt 100% at home in this SUPER CUTE cottage. Adorable and VERY clean. In a safe, friendly neighborhood. We walked downtown 1 night and could have walked to the beach too. Cindy was helpful with dinner and hiking suggestions. This place is a winner!

Thank you Cindy for a lovely stay at your studio! We will definitely be booking again when we come back to Kailua! :) The Seahorse studio was the perfect stay in beautiful Kailua. My husband and I stayed in Waikiki before and drove out to the area and fell in love with the small town and it’s pristine beaches. We decided to come back and stay in the area for a more relaxing vacation. The studio is situated perfectly, with less than a 15 min walk into town and same goes for the beach! Everything we needed was available to us, including coolers and ice packs for taking snacks and bevies to the beach! And can’t forget about that bed... one of the most comfortable sleeps ever!!! We can’t wait for our next visit! :)

Beautiful, clean studio in Kailua

We stayed in this beautiful studio for a month while visiting friends in Kailua. It is well-stocked, beautifully decorated, and the owner, Cindy, was so helpful and welcoming. The unit has everything you will need to stay here. We ate outside on the patio. We really enjoyed this beautiful studio and the Kailua area.

Christmas Holiday

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the beautiful studio rental. We were vacationing for the Christmas holidays and visiting our Army son stationed in Honolulu. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet neighborhood near Kailua beach. We enjoyed having a kitchen to have breakfasts and other meals when not going out with our son for dinner. Everything was provided in the unit to help make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We only wish the cool and sometimes rainy holiday weather had been better! We really enjoyed the big screen TV with Netflix and Pandora. The only minor recommendation I'd make for the studio is to add some hooks in the bathroom for hanging robes, etc. We loved the town nearby with its many restaurants and shops. My son even gave me a gift certificate for a massage at a local spa in town, which completed my stay. All in all, Cindy and her daughter Bella were lovely hosts, and made us feel very welcome, so I'd recommend the rental to anyone wanting a peaceful place vs the standard hotel in Honolulu.

Charming Stay in Quiet Kailua

We had an excellent stay! The studio was clean and beautifully decorated. It came well-equipped with kitchen appliances and beach gear. There were even snorkels and flippers! We liked having a full-sized refrigerator since we were there a full week. It was easy to walk to the town of Kailua or the beach. I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone who likes a quieter, more peaceful place to stay than busy downtown.

Happy in Kailua

The vacation home was cozy and comfortable. It was easy to get to and in a nice residential neighborhood. We appreciated having use of amenities such as the beach towels and snorkel gear. We loved making smoothies everyday with the blender. The entire transaction was very smooth. We used to live in Kailua so staying in a vacation house was like coming home for us. We enjoyed our stay. There were three of us including a 12 y/o child. I would not recommend staying there with more than three people. The house was very user friendly and would be easily accessible by persons with physical limitations.

My husband and I stayed here for our summer getaway and this place is better than we even hoped it would be! Very clean and comfortable with all the kitchen amenities we needed to be able to cook and eat our farmers market bounty at "home". Although we enjoyed visiting with Cindy when we saw her, if you're looking for privacy (as i was) this fits the bill. You have your own entrance and patio area for enjoying your meals and there is no noise from the main house. It is so comfortable and relaxing here to crash after a long day of adventuring around the island or just spending the day at Kailua beach. Not to mention how welcoming Cindy is, we feel like we have made a great friend in her. Take us back!
