"Heating/air conditioning too noisy. Add the train announcing its passing through the town... Parking good. Pillows and bed clothing need a deep wash. Remodeling of the place was nice. Amenities: a bar of soap. No hair dryer. There is a fridge and a microwave, which is helpful especially when travelling with children. Staff: could be more friendly. It is true, we are tourist who may not come back, however a hotel is our home while travelling and having a warm and friendly welcome is appreciated. "

"Room was clean, lots of activities for kids. Heated pool was a big hit with my 10 yo son. Down side hot tub was out of service. Breakfast was good the 1st day and 2nd day breakfast was limited. We didn’t have time to use the bikes on property but that was a nice addition to the property with all kid games and amenities for kids. Would stay here again if we go back to GC"

"The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, but unhelpful when the AC unit our room was so loud it was shaking the entire room & was extremely loud. We had to sleep with the window open instead with no AC or fan on. There was nothing done about it. The free breakfast was ok. The hotel was in walking distance to several restaurants & shopping."
