Stay in Maui

Really enjoyed the island. Location was nice. Wish we had more beach to relax. The staff was very helpful and the property manager did an excellent job with communication! Thanks for everything 😀

Great studio for a long weekend

Beautiful views and nice decor. I think in the future I won’t choose to stay up on the 11th floor for my own personal reasons, but it was a lovely stay. Nice furniture and fully equipped with everything we needed. Wish the property construction wasn’t going on cause it wasnt the best to look at. Loved the pool and views!

Fantastic place

The unit was better than I expected. It was very clean and met all of our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility was amazing. The only issue I had was that access to the beach was very difficult. There wasn’t a clear path among the sandbags and my sister is physically disabled so using the beach was not an option.

Nice spot

All was as described. There was not an easily accessible beach but we drove into Lahaina & Kaanapali for food/drinks/entertainment so no issue for us. Plenty of beach there. Glad we had a rental car vs Uber.

Great location and perfect room for a couple

Me and my wife stayed in this condo for our anniversary. It has a perfect location to some good beaches, Napili Bay, DT Fleming, etc. Fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, and everything in it is all you need as we stayed there for a week. Bed is comfy, good size tv, and good size shower. AC which came in clutch as well. If you want to stay in a affordable place by some nice beaches this is a good way to go.

Fun and Peaceful

Enjoyed the stay...nice room and comfy bed, but couldn't get the coffee maker to work. Kitchen a little lacking of basics (salt/pepper/sugar) but overall great. Loved the laundry unit in the room. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Spectacular view

The property was excellent for a couple, great ocean view, kitchenette for little cooking if you want, and a nice beach. The only negative was that there was no streaming service on their TV, and it wasn’t a smart TV, so we couldn’t watch any movies.

Nice but no air conditioning at time

This is a really nice place to stay and had a really good view. There are no condiments so if you want to cook anything you have to buy everything yourself. Glasses are limited.The air conditioning was broken down and they said it was fixed but it really wasn’t. Pretty hot to sleep

Paradise

This was a beautiful place to stay. The view was spectacular, we could see whales from the balcony. It was convenient to have our own washer and dryer. The only thing missing was some bottled water in the fridge when we arrived. We left some for the next guests. When you get in late and don’t know the lay of the land it’s the small things that make a huge difference. Would totally Recommend!!! The property manager was prompt and easy to communicate with. The condo has beach chairs and a cooler which we used daily. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Having no reusable containers for leftovers would be my only complaint. This place is 10/10

Kahana Condo

The location was great, the online listing was accurate. Upon coming home from a long day, we turned on the lights to find 50+ Cockroaches in the kitchen, living area, bathroom and closet. At 8pm, there was nobody to help. I called the number listed for 24hr help and left a message. A couple hours later a got a call back and he said to use the spray under the sink and they would come in the next day to spray the apartment. There was no spray that night, someone left a can the next day. Thats all that was done. I never got a call back about the situation, no update or anything. I saw several the last few days but not as many as that first night. I understand it is a tropical area and you would see the occasional bug, but this was a bigger problem. Some communication would have been nice.

The view!!

We loved this place! The view is amazing!! Every morning we woke up to views of the ocean, Molokai, and lots and lots of sea turtles! The suite had everything we needed: a comfortable king-sized bed, a great kitchen, air conditioning, washer/ dryer, beach chairs and cooler. We arrived after 10pm, but the friendly night clerk was there to help us and made sure we could access the suite. Everything in the suite was clean and really nicely decorated. It’s also in a building with a heated pool, deck chairs, and barbecues for grilling some fish from the fish market. And a fresh fruit cart for lovely non-alcoholic drinks in pineapples! Access to the beach is a bit tricky from this area because they’ve had to put up large sand bags to prevent loss of the natural dunes. But we were able to hop over them easily with our chairs to sit on the beach. Snorkeling is really good on Maui, and we rented snorkels and fins from across the street at Snorkel Bob’s. Check the snorkel report daily to find out where it’s safest to snorkel, especially if you’re a beginner. We tried Olawalu, Airport Beach, and in front of our building, where we did swim with sea turtles. Olawalu was definitely the easiest and most interesting for coral, fish, and turtles. Our favourite! The neighborhood also is close to a small grocery store, a great coffee shop, and a brewery. Definitely try Miso Phat for excellent sushi! Would highly recommend this suite—we’ll be back!

Would not stay at Maui Paradise Properties again

We booked a stay with Maui Paradise Properties. About two weeks prior to our stay we got an email stating that there was construction that was still being done so if it would be a bother we could cancel or get a discounted price. I messaged back quickly stating the noise would be no bother but we would like the discounted price. The following day I received an email with a cancellation for our stay. Since the trip was so soon we panicked and quickly attempted to find a new spot. I emailed Maui Properties with my frustration and confusion, I was emailed back hours later with an apology about a confusion on their end and that we could rebook our stay. We had already found another stay (regrettably did not notice it was another Maui Paradise Properties rental) so I declined that booking. Our stay with the newly booked Maui Paradise Properties: check in was relatively easy and painless. During out stay i received a call from maintenance stating they needed to come in and fix something and to call back. I attempted to call back and made plans to be out of the room so they could work on whatever was needed, I never received a call back and don’t believe they ever fixed anything. More of just an annoyance to try to schedule around them to be ignored. A few days before check out we decided we wanted to try and get a late check out or book another day in this room since we had an evening flight on checkout day. I tried to book another night on Vrbo but the room didn’t allow a one night rental but the room was available. I called the number I was given if I needed assistance, no answer and no call back. I emailed an email I was given for assistance and was quickly told that there is absolutely no late check out due to covid (but I had also asked for an additional night, basically whatever I needed to do to stay in that room later I would, clearly stating I would pay for it). I emailed again stating the room was available the next night so not sure why I couldn’t book another night, I was then forwarded to another person to ask my same question again to. During this time we booked an alternative room away from Maui Paradise Properties, I was over dealing with them. I was eventually messaged back with an invoice for an extra day which I declined. Before staying at this property I had read reviews about poor responses for any assistance with your stay or booking and didn’t think much of it. Clearly I should have.
