"Enjoyed our private onsen time and having 3 options of outdoor hot springs. Loved our large room with the view of the stream, greenery and the birds singing. We were also happy with the Yukata options at the hotel. Ice cream bar was delicious. Japanese breakfast buffet was impressive! This was the best Kagaonsen experience for me and my friends."

"Beautiful place to relax. Located in an Onsen town, Tachibana Shikitei provides mulitiple opportunities for guests to relax and enjoy nature. I took a walk to the temple, shrine, and through the quaint Onsen town. Took advantage of the bath 3 times! Would absolutely love to stay here again."

"The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area. "

"Lovely getaway for an authentic Japanese Onsen bathing experience. The suite room was gorgeous and came with a private bath which was very worth it for me ! Many delicious local restaurant options nearby too. Staff knew enough English to get us settled. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights as part of your trip. "
