Perfect stay for family with young kids

The Nanea is the perfect Maui resort for a family with young kids, with pools for kids, an easy access beach, and a great condo for gathering as a family for dinners.

The condo itself was perfect. Nice balcony, partial view of the ocean, and excellent view of the lagoon / courtyard with palm trees, etc. excellent master bath, washer / dryer, full kitchen, close to elevators and the main resort lobby (but very quiet), etc. The resort was pretty good. Three pools to choose from and two are large and have water slides (though neither very good). Several large hot tubs. If I was being nit pickey I think the pools could be a little better maintained and I wish they had chairs on the beach you could use without spending close to a hundred bucks a day for a chair and umbrella. The snorkeling right in front of the resort was outstanding. You can.rent snorkel gear right on the property.

Review of our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin, Nanea! It is a beautiful, newer property, on the beach, and close to everything on the northwest corner of the island. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The outdoor bar, with good food is right next to the pool. There is a great walking path between the resort and ocean. The beach in front of the property is spacious, sandy and there is good swimming, with limited rocks. The staff is excellent - friendly and helpful. The VacationCandy team was very proactive and helpful!! We spent 10 nights here and will definitely return!

Our stay at Westin Nanea Ocean Villas couldn't have been more perfect. The location of the property is ideal - so close to everything with the boardwalk right in front and the beach a stone's throw away. The unit itself was exceptionally clean and well appointed - everything we needed at our fingertips with plenty of space to share with two teenagers. We used the fitness facility daily and had everything else we needed to make this a vacation we would remember for a long time. We will definitely be back!!!
