Girls getaway

Great place for a girls getaway. The staff at the Maui Beach Club were very helpful with finding areas to snorkel and visit. Our room had a fantastic Ocean view where we could see the whales.

Maui relaxing beach getaway

Great resort for a family vacation. Everything at your disposal- Starbucks, food, drinks, grills. You don't have to leave the resort if you do not wish to. The pool is right by the ocean so you don't feel like you are sacrificing your beach experience by swimming in the pool. Totally relaxing getaway.

Always Wonderful!

This was our 5th time at this Marriott and it is always amazing! Great whale viewing from our ocean front lanai and even from the beach. This time we had great whale viewing from the pool deck as a whale decided on a series of breaches right off the beach! The amenities including food are varied and take care of all our needs. The Ka'anapali location always has great weather (even this week when the forecast said it was supposed to rain all week).

Great View, Centrally Located

We loved our stay, which was for our daughter's first Christmas. We were promised an ocean view, and not only did we get that we also got to be high up in the tower as requested! We saw whales from our lanai. It was quiet, right on the beach, and also close to the paved walking area to the Whalers Village. Lot's of pool options. Being that it was part of the busy season, we did have to do a little work to get a spot near the pool, but most days we were off to the beach so that never mattered! It has free on sight self-laundry, and the room was equipped with a fridge, sink, and dishwasher.

Kaanapali beach Maui

There is no better beach than the Kaanapali beach in Maui and the Marriott Ocean Beach Club is right in the heart of it. We loved our Christmas vacation!

Best choice!

We loved the location of the resort which was right on the beach and in walking distance to the outdoor mall. The pool was the best one on the island!!! It was also a short drive to the main strip in Lahaina. The rooms could use some updating (2013) but they were large, clean and we had beautiful views. It was a nice touch that vacation candy left a welcome package for us. Would we return? In a heartbeat!!! We fell in love with Maui.

Awesome Vacation!

This was a fantastic, family friendly resort. All that we needed was on site and restaurants and shopping well within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our vacation in every way. (Even the 5:00 a.m. wake ups from our toddler as the Starbucks on site opened early. :-)) Hope to be back soon!

WE love this place

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at Maui Ocean Club. This has become our favorite resort. The Ocean front room provides an awesome view for whale watching right from the balcony. The beach in front of the resort is one of the best along the Kanapalli area. Plenty of room for throwing the Frisbee. The proximity to the walking path, restaurants and Black Rock is great. Would highly recommend.

Our stay reserved through Vacation Candy was fantastic. Without being able to see photographs of the place we were renting upon reservation, we did not know what to expect. The location, decor and amenities of our specific suite were perfect. The resort itself has the best pool complex on Kaanapali Beach (aside from the Hyatt which is overly exclusive).

Super fun beach vacation.

We had so much fun staying at the Marriott. We had two teenage boys with us and the seperate rooms was fantastic for privacy. The pools are amazing, and the beach is even better. Our favorite attendant would set up our chairs on the beach every day. He would also point out great snorkeling points. We also loved having Starbucks right there for a quick bite for lunch or an afternoon pick me up.

Fantastic Location & Amenities!

What a great place! The best beach on Maui, wonderful pools, and great game distractions for our one (1) rainy day (billiards, table-shuffleboard, ping-pong, etc.). The grounds were really well maintained and exceptionally beautiful. Hotel staff were really responsive to requests. On-site food options were varied and good, with other options just up the beach-walk at Whalers Village. Renting equipment (fins, boogie boards, beach umbrellas & chairs, etc.) was super easy, although the normal shop for that is closed and we had to ask for the new location (not an intuitive location now. There is a building permit posted so hopefully the beach-side shop will reopen soon). "Kitchenette" is listed, but it's just a tiny fridge and a microwave inside cabinets. I don't normally shop or cook on vacation so this didn't bother me, but could be a bit misleading. There were dishes and silverware that were quite handy for cutting up & serving fruit on occasion. The room we received (not sure if this is always the room or if it was randomly assigned by the resort) was low - on the 3rd floor - so the palm trees created a bit of a view encumbrance, but we had an ocean-facing view that was terrific! I highly recommend this property to anyone interested in a wonderful Maui vacation!
