We had such a great, comfortable stay. The condo was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, close to the beach and had a great balcony/lanai with a view of the ocean. Communication with the host was great, they quickly answered any questions we had throughout our stay! Looking forward to booking again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Alii. The condo was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and quiet. The location was excellent for spending the day on the beach, snorkeling at Black Rock, and visiting shops and restaurants in Whaler’s Village. Maggie and Mark were gracious and responsive hosts. I highly recommend their condo for a family Maui vacation!
We got back two days ago from our amazing trip to Maui. The best thing about the Alii is the oceanfront location on Kaanapali beach, within walking distance to many other hotels, restaurants, and Whaler's Village. Working with the host was a pleasant experience, and responses were always polite and prompt. This unit has an even better view of the ocean from the lanai than pictured! We enjoyed use of the workout facility at the hotel and utilized towel service for the pool/beach use every day. The hotel staff at the pool and beach were all very kind and attentive. We also enjoyed using things like extra towels, cooler, and beach chairs and umbrella provided in the unit.The unit was clean enough when we arrived, with fresh bedding and towels, but we did notice things like splatters on some of the walls and doors and food residue on the kitchen cabinets. Things that may not get noticed or wiped down during a routine cleaning. Another small thing is that we were not aware that the hotel would hold a small security deposit upon arrival. This would normally not be an issue, but my sister's family, who do not have a credit card, arrived first and checked in. The funds were held from their bank account for our entire stay and the hotel would not allow us to change the hold to our credit card. Overall I would recommend this unit to other travelers and rate it 8/10.
The condo was perfectly located in the heart of Kaanapali with easy access to shops and restaurants. The condo itself was the perfect dice for our family and the beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear provided by our hosts came in handy. Will definitely stay here again!
Great condo with lots of room for all of us (me, husband, 3 kids). It was so convenient to have beach stuff on hand and in-unit laundry. The Coconut condo staff are very friendly and easy to reach.

Great location and property and managers but overall not very clean compared to the other unit our family stayed in.
What an incredible place - clean, great decor, comfortable furniture and fabulous location! We loved the easy access to the pool and beach - and all of the other kaanapali amenities! The beach chairs were so appreciated, too! Thank you!
Great location to enjoy Kaanapali beach and other Maui activities
This property was an excellent location for the beach, shopping, and restaurants, and other island adventures (Lahaina harbor is just 10-15 mintues away). There is a small ocean view from the lanai but no view from any other location. Besides the price and very few small details, the condo met our expectations. We even left some items (snorkeling gear) for the next guests to enjoy if they enjoy. If you are planning a trip, several places will need reservations far in advance. Mama's fish house (especially with smaller parties-less than 4 people), the Old Lahaina Luau sells out quickly, and the Black sand beach (National Park on the Road to Hana) needs a reservation to visit.

Property was good. I have stayed there prior. I could not believe how poorly we were treated at check in. The office staff let us know several times that since we booked through another property manager, they would do nothing for us. Check in was at 4:00, which we were aware of. They made very clear that they would not take our bags and seemed to delight in tellin us that they would certainly not sotre any food we had purchased. Important to note that the rest of the staff on the grounds were wonderful to deal with. While the room was nice, I did not expect "sleeps 5" to mean the couch was the 5th spot. We had a couple of issues while there. The operator was not helpful at all. When I was able to talk to the property manager, he was great to deal with and solved what the minor issues were.
I loved the spaciousness of this unit, the location was great so close to Whaler's Village. We never found the resort too crowded even though it was a holiday weekend. Will definitely be coming back.
Once again, we had another perfect family getaway at the Alii. We have stayed in many units on property, and this was definitely one of the nicer ones. The newly updated finishes were modern and tasteful, and the boogie boards and beach toys were a nice touch for our boys (4 and 6 yo). We’ll definitely be back!
