The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you could wish for for a short and longer stay. The cottage is very spacious and also peaceful and quiet so you can enjoy a truly relaxing time away. Great location to explore the coastline or Kent in land. "Host/owner was so friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and it was no trouble at all, they provided extra pillows on request and were so lovely to chat to over breakfast. Smooth check in, simple nice room, just as described, worked perfectly for our family. Near a Tesco and cafes, short 10min walk to the centre of things/beach fun etc. Would book again when going to Margate."

"Clean airy room, they had plenty of towels and clean bedding. They had put the trundle bed out ready which I thought was nice. They had ample parking which was really useful. The room had some aspects which felt a little cheap, the kettle wouldn’t shut properly, the sink wouldn’t unplug, which was annoying when brushing our teeth, and the curtains nearly fell from the wall when trying to close them."

"Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays."

"We are a multi generational family of 7, with ages from 24 to 96. The house was perfect for our family get together – lovely bedrooms, great communal living spaces and a stunning view out over the cliffs to the channel beyond. The Kitchen was perfect for family meals and, given most of the rooms were on one level, it was perfect for my 96 year old Father in Law to move around. He spent much of his time with binoculars or book in the conservatory area. The rest of us explored the fabulous historical towns and beachside and cliff views. Great walking straight from the house, or lovely drives to Broadstairs and Sandwich or Whitstable. Loads to do, amazing seafood restaurants and great Fish and Chips (shout out to Minnis – in Birchington). Angela was a wonderful host – super communicative and with great advice and recommendations. Thank you! All in all we had a brilliant 5 days and would highly recommend Whitecliff."
