"Very beautiful location - great deck area for relaxing Very clean cottage The loft area was very cramped - entering and exiting the loft was cumbersome - my wife and I slept on the futon on the main floor The mattress in the loft was 6 inches wider than the bed frame - not an issue for us (see above) but if you did sleep up there it might be an issue I thought it was weird that I needed to state (at check-in) if I wanted bed linens and towels which was then an extra charge - never seen this before in my travels. Otherwise, great place to stay on a quiet lake"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hancock’s cottage. It was clean, very spacious, and had a quiet location on the water. The kitchen was recently updated and well-stocked with cooking utensils. Definitely recommend!"

"We had a blast during our 2nd trip to Darwin’s cabin!!!I can’t even begin to explain how special Darwin’s cabin is. There are enough bedrooms to fit our large family and the large enclosed patio is perfect for large family dinners and playing cards & games well into the evening (both of which Darwin has plenty of). Some new additions, since our last stay (fans & the blackstone griddle) made it even better. The fans were especially helpful as we had a warm start to our week and the griddle was super helpful for big pancake breakfasts.The only thing I would change about our stay? I would have stayed another week!!!"

"Older cottage but has everything you need and is spacious and very comfortable. Location right on the lake is beautiful with private beach and access to kayaks. Lots of birds, beautiful spot. Sunrise is visible from the jetty. The geese are nice to watch with their babies but they do create a bit of a mess on the lawn and beach. Overall a lovely and peaceful spot to spend a few days away from the bustling city."
