Last night the fire alarm went off all night long, could not sleep, than again in the morning. at checkout even after I had pre paid all charges with Expedia, they charged my card again for resort fee when my reservation was clearly written that resort fee was included, still waiting for hotel response.

Last minute getaway and it was not all it could have been. After a day or two I had to change rooms because there were multiple roaches in my room when I returned after dinner. The new room I was moved to had a door that did not lock at all.

The rooms need an update, price too high for what you get. Water runs very slow pressure. The beach of the Cove dirty, lots of garbage. The food all over the property very bad quality and very tiny portions

Unfortunately, this is my second time staying at the Royal, and once again, I was very disappointed with the customer service. We paid for early check-in and arrived around 12 PM. The front desk told us there was no availability and asked us to wait outside until the room was ready. We waited for more than 5 hours, expecting to receive a phone call, but no one ever contacted us. When we finally went back to the front desk, we were told, “Sorry, we don’t call. You should come back and check.” This was extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, very poor customer service. The room itself was fine, but the housekeeping was disappointing as well. They came in, made the bed, and took the trash, but did not change the sheets. Overall, everything feels overpriced, especially considering the level of service provided. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would not recommend staying here.
