Seawood Oceanfront Suite: 2-Bed with Private Beach!


  • Seawood Suite is light and airy with vaulted ceilings and spectacular ocean views from the expansive windows in every room.

    The one bedroom has a king-size bed. In the living area, there is a queen-size Murphy bed. A well-equipped kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances is stocked with all the tools and amenities you might need.

    At the end of a day spent exploring the local trails, beaches, and forests, relax while barbecuing on the deck. Sip your favorite beverage and enjoy the spectacular sunset, relaxing by the fire table with the sound of the waves in your ears. Star gaze from the comfortable deck or bring your lawn chairs and watch from the beach.

    It's only a short stroll through a magical forest to the private beach. Bring down your morning coffee and watch magnificent Pacific gray whales pass by in the spring as they migrate to northern feeding grounds, returning again in the fall. Roaming pods of resident killer whales can also be seen offshore, as well as otters and sea lions.

    Surrounded by nature and wildlife yet minutes from the local amenities and outdoor adventures of Sooke, BC, this beautiful property is a forty minute drive to BC's capital city, Victoria, and only an hour from the Victoria International Airport and Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.

Fabulous place. Perfect for a couple. Would also work for a family, keeping in mind no bath, only a shower. The outside space was fantastic. I especially liked that everything was well labeled, including light switches!

Walking in the door was immediate relaxation! We enjoyed exploring local trails and beaches by day then coming back to grill out on the balcony and enjoy dinner with the best view in town! Our daughter (age 11) and our dog really enjoyed playing on the private beach just a minute walk from the house. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future!

This property has the most incredible deck with the best views. The house is clean, modern and has everything you could possibly need! Sooke is a short 5 minute drive and has a lot of great restaurants, bakeries and scenic trails. Absolutely loved our stay here!

Tranquil stay

The property is secluded, quiet and peaceful. I took m sisters who were visiting from the UK. We sat outside for all 3 days and had the best views, laughs, memories and food sitting on the patio with the fireplace on in the evenings. It really is beautiful.

Second stay for us. Family of 3 - 2 adults, a 6 year old plus our dog. Great location, wonderful views off the deck. Watched sea lions and bald eagles. Small space, but has been perfect for our little family. Highly recommend.

Holiday on the Ocean

We stayed for 4 nights at Seawood Oceanfront Suite. We loved the accommodation! Saw orcas, dolphins, seals, and deer from the balcony. They went the extra mile for us - I accidentally booked 3 nights instead of 4, and they made it easy for us to extend another night. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous views!

This place is perfect for a couple or small family. The space is great, but nothing is better than the deck with the incredible view of the Salish Sea & the Olympic Mountains across the water. This is our second time here and we love every second. The home is beautifully appointed with everything you need, and thoughtful descriptions of how to use things or where to find what you need are everywhere. It’s a true dream spot!

There is no adequate description for the view here - you have to see it for yourself. The house is on five acres with a beach on both sides. The suite is modern and very comfortable. The deck is huge. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Stay Near Sooke

Seawood delivers on location and amazingly scenic views. We found the Sooke area to be beautiful with some gem amenities. The suite was comfortable, well stocked and clean. It has access to a rocky beach that we visited daily. We saw otters and seals from the deck. We were slightly disappointed to learn upon arriving that the house is split into at least 3 suites so it felt more like an Inn. therefdeck.

This is our 3rd stay at this property, and it’s just as fabulous as the first time. The home is clean, bright, and airy. It is well appointed with all basic needs met with quality items. The eco-friendly waste set up is great.It has absolutely stunning views. Plan to spend a bit of time on that deck!There are a couple of units, but plenty of easy parking in the large circle drive. Quick & easy access to many of the SW coast public lands. If you’re hesitating, book it. :)

Perfect Place to Spend Christmas

Great place to spend Christmas. The view was outstanding…none of the pics do it justice! The suite itself was immaculate and the kitchen had everything you need. The location is very close to many hiking trails and we really took advantage of this. The host was readily available yet, kept their distance. We really felt like we were the only people around. I highly recommend this gorgeous suite!
