About this property

Hot Tub, Fire Pit & BBQ | 4 mins -> JT Park & Town

  • Cozy homesteader cabin—perfect for couples seeking a romantic desert retreat. 4 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park's west entrance and town. Newly upgraded with a two-person hot tub, fire pit, and covered pergola with Weber BBQ for intimate starlit dinners. Refreshed interior too. I'm awaiting more professional photos to show off the space.

Sleeps 2 comfortably, up to 3 guests

    - King bed

    - Fold-out sofa (converts to double bed)

    The Perfect Location

Roadrunner Ranch sits in Joshua Tree Highlands—the area's most coveted neighborhood. You're 4 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree in one direction, 4 minutes to the park's west entrance in the other. The property is directly off paved Quail Springs Road, while most rentals in the area require long drives down rough dirt roads. Location is consistently our guests' favorite feature—and for good reason.

    Key Amenities:

    ★ Two-person hot tub

    ★ Propane fire pit

    ★ Covered ocotillo pergola

    ★ Weber BBQ

★ Covered porch with sunrise views

★ Kitchenette (microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, mini fridge)

    ★ TV with Roku

    ★ Full bathroom

    ★ Heating & AC

    ★ String lights

    ★ Complimentary local coffee

    Your Romantic Retreat

This private cabin offers complete seclusion with its own driveway and dedicated outdoor spaces. Wake to stunning sunrises from the east-facing covered porch with your morning coffee. The kitchenette handles light meals and breakfast (not set up for major cooking), plus a Weber BBQ for grilling.

Spend evenings under the covered ocotillo pergola or soak in the two-person hot tub. The propane fire pit and string lights create perfect ambiance for stargazing. Inside, enjoy full heating and AC, a comfortable king bed with premium linens, and a TV with Roku.

    The Main House

A separate 3-bedroom house sits 150 feet away with its own driveway—typically rented independently, but available to add to your reservation. If occupied by other guests, you likely won't see or hear them.

Jackrabbit Cabin is a charming place to stay. We really loved the beautiful wood floor, the earthy natural accents and the most comfortable bed. It is a perfect location as it's only about 4 miles to Joshua tree national forest. The drinks and trail snacks is a very nice touch! Thanks so much. We hope to come back in the winter.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was perfect and just as described. Mountain views out every window. I saw our host, Mr. Jackrabbit in the yard, as well as a few roadrunners and ground squirrels! It's a great place to stay to see the park. Easy check-in and check-out. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location and very cozy

The cabin was perfectly located between the National Park and town. It was very easy to find. Communication with the owner, Colin, was very efficient. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was a nice touch to have a coffee area that included a bean grinder, coffee machine, pour over, water filter, and delicious Joshua Tree Coffee. Some snacks were also left for us.The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot! Some comfy chairs inside the cabin and on the patio would be a great addition. We experienced a black-out so on our last morning there was no electricity to make coffee or have a shower. It was also very dark so some candles or a flashlight that worked would have been nice to have.
