WE HAVE AIR CONDITIONING! Mini Splits are located throughout the house for your comfort in the hot summers. Most places in JT have Swamp Coolers that won't get the job done! Get ready to enjoy a slice of this one-of-a-kind, majestic, desert oasis! Our property is sprawling with lush desert vegetation and the characteristic Joshua Tree native to the region. At 2 bedrooms, our home is ideally suited for couples, business travellers, or families with children and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. Step inside and take in the minimalist vibes of our tastefully decorated interior, with unique pieces of décor and modern furnishings adding that extra “artistic” character to the space.

As you walk past the entrance, you will be greeted with the open concept living room and dining room area, with plenty of large windowpanes and sky lights illuminating the space. This area is perfect to gather up friends and family and engage in fun indoor play. While you’re at it, crank up the coziness and light up the indoor fireplace or watch your favorite flick on our large smart TV. For those who are looking to cook up a storm, be sure your culinary delights will be satisfied with all the necessary amenities to prepare a perfect meal! This includes a rice maker, toaster, oven, stove, microwave, and a refreshing coffee/tea bar to start your day off with a perfectly brewed cup of joy.

Sleep on cloud 9! All of our bedrooms contain a comfy queen-sized mattress along with hotel quality linens, soft pillows and ample space to store your clothes and personal belongings. Black out curtains have been installed to ensure you sleep well and wake up the next day revitalized and ready to take on your next adventure. Additionally, an extra air mattress is available in the living room for any extra guests who wish to stay here. At the end of the day, take a refreshing shower or bubbly bath in one of our immaculate bathrooms, including toilet paper, body wash/shampoo, towels and other bathroom essentials for your convenience.

You will have access to the entire house and property with the exception of the garage which is used as a locked store room.

Mooncrest Lodge sits on the coveted Southern side of Joshua Tree, closer to the National Park than many rentals in the area. Mooncrest is within a residential, very safe neighborhood. There are neighbors (this is not a remote area), though they have no visibility into the house because of the placement of surrounding trees and vegetation, and they are not noisy.

Mooncrest is a 2 minute drive, easy bike ride, or brisk 20 minute walk, depending on your preference, to everything in town, including the health food store, natural sisters and crossroads cafes, as well as the Joshua Tree saloon.

We do not allow parties, illegal drug use or excessive drinking. We also can not accommodate guests under the age of 27 with the exception of children in the accompaniment of a parent.

We encourage slipper use inside the house, but it's not mandatory.
Outdoor fire pit use is only permitted in low winds, and must always be checked with the local fire department website for seasonal permission.
All flames and embers in the fire pit must be extinguished before going to bed or leaving the property.
Please be aware that children count as guests.
No smoking inside the house or sun room at any time.
Pets must be house trained, and will incur a $45 extra cleaning fee as set by our cleaning service.
Please keep pets' paws off of the furniture, doors, and walls.
No outside guests on the property at any time. Each outside guest will be charged as an additional $50 overnight guest.
We do our best to be green, so please turn off all lights, heat, and AC when leaving during the day.
