"We had an amazing time. It was clean, cozy, remote, and the view was beautiful. The hot tub was in the perfect position on the deck to enjoy the view. We really enjoyed our getaway."

"Despite the clear lack of occupancy prior to our arrival and that we needed to 'set up' Ie. Put our own garbage bags in bins, toilet paper etc. the cottage was exactly as described, with the layout a little peculiar. The kitchen is in the upper apartment with the dining table in the lower apartment there was an issue with cleninless however both the rental manager and owner worded to address these with minimal delay. There is a fire pit outside which in summer is completely shaded by large trees and it was despite the head lovely to sit out there with a breeze making s'mores in the afternoon. Overall our stay was not perfect but has the ability to be. I would recommend for families or dual couples with older children who are comftorable sleeping separated from parents as there is no internal access between apartments and down stairs does not have a fridge. "

"This was a very comfortable home to stay in. We have a large family and it accommodated all of us. There were plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds, and the kitchen was spacious. All my kids played the arcade games. In addition there is a cute coffee shop across the street.The drive to Luray is very quick. We were also able to drive up to do some hikes in the Shenandoah National Forest several days. I would very much recommended staying here! We had a great time."

"We were unable to stay at the cabin due to heavy rain and possible flooding in the area for that day and the next few days. We live a few hours away and were coming up for a day for my husband to fish and for me to make Vlog videos of the scenery. We are in our 70s and travel for us was dangerous so we turned around and came home. I inquired with the Seller if they would be willing to allow us to change to a few days later, given the cabin was not rented the night before we would come up. We were only staying a day and requesting the change within a few days. It's not like we were trying to rebook f6 months down the road or for a week or more. It was a simple request that we feel could have easily been accommodated. They refused. We had an air-bnb for 5 years and we would have gladly worked out this simple arrangement with a renter. We will be planning the trip again but we will not rent this cabin nor any others this Seller may have. It's a shame because had we liked the cabin, we would have rented it multiple times in the future since we live in the area."

"Arriving at the property the gravel drive way took you up to the beautiful cabins which revealed a gorgeous Mountain View. The property grounds are very well maintained and the cabin was gorgeous. Very cozy and had everything as described in listing. We spent most of our time in the newly installed patio which gave a postcard view. The bed swing was a nice surprise as the listing doesn’t reflect the new addition. On our second day the owner stopped and made sure our stay was going well and he was extremely nice and personable. One little surprise was the baby copperhead that slithered out from under the hot tub steps as we were exiting the hot tub on our second night. So use caution and be mindful of your surroundings. But don’t forget you are in the mountains so it should be expected you might see wildlife and little surprises like this. There is dim lighting provided around hot tub and patio area so it allowed us to see it in time and remain safe. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away for a couple days.
