Everything is good but the hotel need to improve on their breakfast. Limited variety and food are not tasty. Housekeeping can be forgetful and forget to include floor mat and hand towels. The hotel should had inform in advance to the guest that the swimming pool is not available. We only know that the swimming pool is under renovation upon check in.

There was a cockroach infestation and the only solution by the counter staff was to change to another room. By then i had started developing an allergic reaction and just wanted to get out ofbthe place. I had demaned a refund to which counter staff claimed the 3rd party booking site would refund me. Not sure how thats going to happen. Did not even stay the night. Booked another hotel and left.

Overall, not worthy to stay

1. parking is inconvenient as the hotel is not directly connected to the parking lot. 2. overall condition was not so good. not worthy to pay above 300RM for a night 3. We booked under local name and presented local IC but took tourist tax. We realised it when we checked out but they just treat me as a complaint customer. The lady at the counter named Lyn~ said that she was not the one who collected money but why I was talking about this issue to her. As one of hotel staffs, she had to be more professional. 4. Not much choices for breakfast, and only apple and orange for fruits overall, not worthy at all

There are black mound growing on the roller blinds in the toilet...the veggie placed on the salad counter during breakfast were already rotting but no one bother to remove them and there is not much food left qhen we reached the area ard 8.30am on Sat morning.

My experience at Trove was a pleasant one. The main touchpoints were done well. Could be better if there was a little background music in the lobby. No complaints and enjoyed my stay there! Beautiful view of JB and the sunrise from the room. We were given adjoining rooms when we requested too. Thank you. 🙂
