"The staff was very pleasant, professional and yet very warm and welcoming. The rooms /cottages were absolutely lovely with a wonderful southern charm in their decor, the extra touch provided in the furnishings and all the extra amenities too. Perfect cooling & heating unit that was very quiet and easy to operate, ceiling fans, USB plug ins for phone charging and a great TV with plenty of channels to suit everyone as well.The breakfast was a very nice array of hot & cold breakfast items to suit all appetites. "

"My wife and I stayed here four an anniversary trip and from start to finish Mike and Ellen were perfect hosts. The place was immaculate with a wonderful historic furniture and settings, yet all modern conveniences of AC and microwave and kitchen. The location cannot be beat and was within walking distance of fine restaurants and historic blocks. I don’t know if they do it for just anybody, but Ellen’s key lime pie is award winning. I applaud their painstaking efforts to rehabilitate and restore the grand residence and outbuildings. "

Parking was a bit of a challenge, but was likely made worse because it turns out my visit happened to be the same day as a major local event. I'm guessing it would normally be easier. The town is absolutely stunning and the people were so nice. I highly recommend this unit! "

"My hubby and I stayed in the top floor of the Carriage House for 2 nights. This is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in lots of them. The care that Ellen and Mike put into the place is very evident. The porch with the rocking chairs is a very relaxing way to spend some time. The beds are very comfy and the bedding a really nice quality. The kitchen is small but has what you need if you want to make a meal. We ate out as there are so many good restaurants close by. Ellen and Mike gave us great recommendations for restaurants too.The location of the place is great. Just a couple blocks off Bay Street where the shops and restaurants are located. Small parks along the bay where u can sit and watch the boats. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again."
