"We arrived and found that the restaurant and bar were going to be closed for the duration of our stay. This is a remote area, so we had to drive to locate any food or drink. We had to change rooms several times, as we wanted a room on the lakeside and had to upgrade to a handicap room, due to the toilets being so low to the ground in the regular rooms. Neither of us are handicapped, but we are in our 70's. The room was fine and the beds were super comfortable! We spent the better part of our afternoons and evenings just sitting and looking at the wonderful lake, the chipmunks, and all the birds. The only drawback to the serenity is that I-77 is just on the other side of the hill and all the noise just spoils it. We would stay there again."
"Cabin was spotless and had everything needed for kitchen and bath. The view was definitely as beautiful as advertised. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place!5 stars"
Greenbrier River Front Cottage / 2 BR/2 BA / Peaceful Water Views with WiFi, AC
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Sitting on the front porch on the swings, under the ceiling fans, looking out at the river, was just idyllic."
"Very nice place. I would stay here again, but I would make sure I had a room on the 2nd floor. We were on the first floor and it was noisy. Other than that, everything was great."
"Everything was very nice neat clean and well kept. The breakfast was a bit minimalistic, but other than that the place was perfect. For the price, I don’t know that I’ve stayed in a better place and I stay in a hotels just about every week for work."
Cozy with spectacular views, easy access to I-64, and each end of the NRGNP
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed Cozy and Crooked on the Cliff. The little house is older. but we felt right at home. Quiet and peaceful with a view of the mountains. We especially enjoyed the front deck which was fenced in so that our dogs could be out there with us. I loved the earthy vibe it had, pictures of Morel mushrooms, books about reptiles, and lots of cool rocks. Close to Sandstone Falls. The views are stunning and would be just as beautiful in the fall! Thank you for the peaceful visit."
