this property is no longer operating as a lodge/motel. Its website is completely out of date. Now rooms are let as permanent rentals. No dining room, no meals, no a/p shuttle.

quiet relaxing place

My stay at African Tribes Guest Lodge was really short, a rest time between 2 flights. Anyway, even for that short stay, i appreciated a lot the place and the service. Pieter came to pick me up at te airport at 1 am. And once we arrived at his lodge he showed me a super beautiful and well equiped room. The bed was amazing confortable, the shower hot, and the area quiet. The staff is really nice and helpfull. I didn't take a breakfast on place , so i can't say about the quality... but i'm sure it has to be as good as the place and the owners.

Localização boa, bom tratamento dos funcionários. O Café da manha é muito básico e poderia ter mais opções e variedades. Não tem comodidade para comer fora do horário de café da manhã! Deveria ter pelo menos algumas opções de algo para beber e comer a venda no local. Uns 5-10 minutos de caminhada para algum mercado próximo. Precisa levar/comprar no mercado coisas para comer/beber nos intervalos de almoço, café da tarde e jantar. Ou sair para comer fora. Uma opção mais completa seria se locomover ao Festival Mall (Shopping) para comer (Mercado, Restaurantes, Lanches). etc..

Property was pleasing to the eye. However, it rained while I was there and water puddled on the floor. A driver met us at the airport after we called for pickup and got us a key to our room. However there was no one behind the reception desk and struggled to figure out the basics. Not a warm welcome.
