Daniel, the property owner was constantly maintaining, and performing up keep tobthe grounds, while were were out around town enjoying our vacation. Excellent host, great property. The stay was actually the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

In unfamiliar area Daniel took great care of us.

Meli Villa is a quaint, clean and functional place to stay if you want to connect with the culture of Mexico and still be in a clean and safe place. Great if you had children and beautiful in location and traditional Mexican architecture. I loved the privacy and the care taker Daniel and his family helped us with whatever we needed. Bottled water was a big plus. Thank you.

Daniel was an amazing property keeper. His sons were very polite and quiet considering they were two small boys. There are two houses on the property, we stayed in the smaller house which has two bedrooms. One is a master and one has two beds a queen and a twin. They have a playpen in each room in case you need it. My room was the master, it has a queen size bed with a huge bathroom. Only thing is the bathroom door is not private from the master so if you have to go and you haven’t gone In front of your significant other.. it’s embarrassing lol. The bigger house is located in front of a pool and jacuzzi. We had access to that area but I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable probably if someone was staying there. I will be renting again but we would like to rent the entire property. The view is directly of the lake but it is fenced off. There is a billiard table and a trampoline as well with toys for kids. I highly recommend this property.

Almost paradise...

Grounds were beautiful. Hot tub and pool were very relaxing. Caretaker on premises was attentive to keeping pool and jacuzzi clean. Sadly, the unit was not as advertised. NO air conditioning, only ceiling fans. NO King size bed, only matrimonial (double). No room darkening shades in the bedroom- much sunlight made the room hot. Showers were small. Caretakers family lives on premises, right next to the unit we rented. Not much privacy. Unit was very overpriced for the area and the amenities. Could have paid one third the price for a comparable unit in Ajijic.
