The Forbidden City is the Palace where the Chinese emperors lived until the revolution in 1911. Build nearly 600 years ago, the Forbidden City is a World Heritage on the UNESCO list. This masterpiece of Chinese architecture was designed after the principles of Yin and Yang. One of the principles determines the necessity of a hill behind palaces, where this picture was taken. The Jingshan park is the perfect spot to get an overview of this immense area.
