The Forbidden City is the Palace where the Chinese emperors lived until the revolution in 1911. Build nearly 600 years ago, the Forbidden City is a World Heritage on the UNESCO list. This masterpiece of Chinese architecture was designed after the principles of Yin and Yang. One of the principles determines the necessity of a hill behind palaces, where this picture was taken. The Jingshan park is the perfect spot to get an overview of this immense area. Very so. Just the restaurant people were not as nice. Maybe because of the language burial. But i didn't feel welcome to the restaurant every time i was there....
