Yowie 3 - (Yowie Lodge)

Perfect for families or couples wanting a snow/ski holiday in winter or mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, water/jet skiing, golfing, kayak/canoeing and horse riding in summer.

'Yowie 3' is a modern, self contained charming top floor apartment/Lodge in a small block of 4 units.

In Jindabyne, sleeping up to 6 people. (Council approved for 6 only).

Walk to the town centre, local shops, restaurants, eateries, bars, cafes and the lake.

The snowfields of Perisher or Thredbo are an easy 25-35 min drive by car or the bus stop is just around the corner.

Boat ramp is located a 5-6 minute drive away.

Cosy wood fire, (FREE - barrel of wood and kindle supplied each stay - Winter only) to relax in front of after a great days skiing/boarding or just snow play.

Inverter air conditioner for warmth in winter & cooling in summer.

Oil heaters in both bedrooms

Comfy lounge with 55 inch Hisense UHD smart TV.

Blu ray DVD player with DVD's and games for the kids.

Had all we needed: well appointed and a nice balcony. Could hear the TV from the room next door plus a broken chair not set aside were the only real negatives.

Comfortable and great location

A very comfortable, attractive apartment for a small family or group of friends. The location was ideal for us, close to the town centre, lake shore and walking/cycling tracks. It was well appointed, clean and well maintained. A number of thoughtful touches such as a charging station, books, DVD's, games, magazine and excellent Wifi. Booking and check in was seamless. Lots to do in Jindabyne and the local area. Would love to stay again.

A great, quiet spot.

Yowie 3 was really comfortable, warm and clean for our short 2 night stay. The location was quiet and the unit was well equipped. Communication was great and checking in nice and simple. The only reason for a 4 star rating and not a 5 star was that you need to provide your own linen. I didn't notice that point until after I booked (my mistake) and if I had, I would have looked elsewhere as fitting linen into a car absolutely packed full of kids and luggage was an additional challenge. So if BYO linen is ok for you then I'd definitely recommend Yowie 3 as a place to stay.

First visit to Jindabyne

I was on a driving holiday and visiting Jindabyne for the first time hoping to get in a few beginner walks. The property was located in a wonderful location walking distance to the lake which has a couple options for walking. The property had excellent features with everything you need after exploring the surrounding townships. Was able to relax after long days. Definitely a property set up for both Summer and Winter holidays. You can drive to Thredbo and take the chairlift (at a cost) to take 4 - 6 hrs the Mount Kosciuszko Summit walk noting you need to be prepared for various conditions. I hope to get back in Spring when it was not so hot on the days I visited. I was interested in the Snowy Mountain Scheme which was well covered by the museum at Adaminaby.

Had a nice stay. The kitchen and bathroom could do with an update and cooking pots needed a good scrub with steel wool before we used them. They had food stains but cleaned up fine. Was a very quiet place to stay. Beds were comfortable. 1min walk to the lake to throw a line in was nice In a nice place to stay

A lovely spot in Jindabyne

Thanks Liz for a cosy and peaceful stay at Yowie Lodge! The place was perfect for a two night stay and day trip out to Mount Kosciuszko, and close enough for a leisurely walk into town for pub meals and a walk by the lake. Happy new year!

Cozy Stay

This charming home is the best cozy vibes! We enjoyed unwinding by the fireplace, snuggling under the throw blankets, and reminiscing with the DVD collection and board games. We definitely plan to book again in the future; we only wish we had more time to fully enjoy this delightful retreat.

Fantastic stay at Yowie 3

Stayed 4 nights with 2 teenage children. Yowie 3 was very clean and comfortable with such a nice cosy feel. Loved the fire, definitely felt like we were in the mountains. Hosts were great, made sure everything was ok for our stay. Fantastic location close to shops, restaurants and the lake. Would definitely stay at Yowie 3 again.

Easter break

We stayed 4 nights over Easter. Good size for family of 5. Kitchen is old but it had everything what we needed. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was great value and we would stay there again.
