"Key problems were that hotel wasn’t in the town advertised (it was in Ramgarh and not Fatehpur as advertised) and nor was the room we were allocated anywhere near the size or standard of the one advertised. We felt very let down with what we felt was a very basic and seriously overpriced room. Some other aspects of what was advertised also turned out to be inaccurate. "This is a fantastic new hotel in Mandawa, an off-the-beaten-path city that is well worth a visit. Set in a fully restored haveli (a traditional merchant’s palace), it offers beautifully appointed rooms and excellent service at a very reasonable price. There is no better place to stay in town."
