"The buffet breakfast was reasonably extensive and sumptuous, siialr to other properties in its class. The staff was superb, uniformly polite, helpful, experienced and kowledgeable. If you expect to have climate control you will be horribly disappointed. The a/c is centrally controled even though there is a therostat in the rooml. The Merbure chain has a policy of not turning on the air conditioning at all until May 1, and then only having it available unitl outside temperature has dropped below 18 C (64 F). The room can bake during the day and my room was stil at 24 C (75 F) long after the outside temp had fallen below 18. Sleeping was not comfortable."

"Great compact room with everything you need in a city centre location with great access to public transport. Staff were great and the small bar was perfect for a nightcap. Quiet A/C was a real bonus. If you have a car don’t forget to book parking. There is a public car park 50m away but is twice the price of the hotel parking"

"We loved our stay here for two days while traveling throughout Germany. Everything was above and beyond my expectations! Perfect location to get out and walk throughout the altstadt and the market was right outside the door. Breakfast was delicious, comfortable beds, big rooms and the staff was warm and friendly. I would recommend this hotel."
