"We had a great stay (2 adults and 2 small dogs) and would definitely rate it 5 stars. We especially loved the seclusion, the beautiful natural setting, the big lot with pine trees, and having the Hot Springs trail right from the house. It felt peaceful, private, and perfect for a hiking getaway. The cabin was also very warm and cozy, even in freezing weather. We were surprised that we actually turned the heat off at night and opened the windows while it was 25–27F outside. The heating lamp in the bathroom was such a nice touch and very useful in the cold. I was also genuinely impressed to see a feminine emergency kit in the bathroom — that was such a thoughtful detail and showed real care from the host. The only thing I’d mention as a small suggestion is that the twin bed felt a little too small after long days of hiking. I think a queen or king bed would make the stay even better, even if it meant giving up the nightstand.Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and would happily come back."
"The staff, especially the nice hostess/manager at check in. She went above and beyond to do her best to make me feel like a matter. I needed a cup that fit the lids in the breakfast area and she tore the place apart looking for the cup, and she found it. Most places just say sorry and don't make the effort. She did. She made me feel like a mattered. "
"My wife and 2 adult kids had the most wonderful time at Casa del Rio. The house and environs are absolutely stunning! And the hosts were amazing - they thought of everything and provided excellent coffee and sweets and anything we might have forgotten. If I could rate it higher than a 5 I would have, We will definitely be back!"
"My family and I had a great time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable 3 night stay. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommend. Great views! "
