Mountain Adobe Home in Jemez Springs, NM Mt. Views "Raven House"
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful vacation. The house is beautiful and comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen to cook any meal you want, including an assortment of spices! We cooked Thanksgiving in July, and even had a big turkey platter! And I can’t say enough about the view. We would sit out on the deck and gaze at the ever changing colors and patterns on the cliffs across the valley every chance we got. There is so much to do and see in the area, too. If you like rugged, beautiful scenery, hot springs, and history, you will be very happy here. Rockhounds and birdwatchers will be delighted, too! The location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, and the house was obviously built with love and you can feel it."
"This cabin is very clean and comfortable, with beautiful views. Secluded and on the side of a hill looking out at an eastern mountain range covered in trees. Very quiet surroundings that let you de-tox on the upper and lower decks, while sipping a cup of coffee. Very close to Fenton lake (10 miles), allowing for some great fishing and hiking. Excellent cabin that will have you not wanting to leave."
"Place is great! Stunning views, ideal location, clean, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, all the amenities you could need plus some. Well set up for relaxation."
"The hot water to the bathrooms could have been better. It took longer than expected to get hot water to the shower and sink. Otherwise, the place was great and for our purposes was an excellent choice."
Yard, Deck, Grill! Desert Hideaway By Jemez Canyon
8/10 Good
"The house has everything one needs. It's a very cozy place, but a bit too small for my taste. Once the couch is opened up and the bed is out there is very little room left. The deck is nice, but fully exposed to the sun the whole day, so it gets very hot, and the house also. Although the outside temps weren't quite at summer levels, I needed to run the A/C the whole day to keep it comfy. It's pretty c;lose to a busy road, so one hears the road noise. However,I liked the general location. It's close to Jemez and Valles Caldera,"
