Harmony Mountain Retreat is a premier Buffalo River Lodging log cabin. Thousands of guests have made life-long memories over the past 20+ years! Prime dates book early.
Situated at high elevation on large wooded acreage bordering the Ozark National Forest, Harmony Mountain Retreat is a stress-free 4400 sq. ft., eight suite log home that sleeps up to 23 guests. Each suite has its own full bathroom, with several enjoying their own large Jacuzzi bathtub. All suites also provide private access to the cabin's three-level, 1100 sq. ft. deck overlooking the Ozark National Forest.

Perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, extended family vacations, church groups or any large gathering, Harmony Mountain Retreat gives you the total Buffalo River experience--private and luxurious accommodations and the serenity of your own private park-like setting right outside your door.

Peaceful cabin in the woods

We had a great stay we were on are yearly motorcycle trip this cabin was in a great location in the ozarks. Plenty of room in cabin for all very relaxing after riding all day .i would recommend this cabin very much.

Great Family Getaway

The Cabin was big enough for the whole family. There was plenty of space indoors and outdoors for everyone to have their own space. The kids were able to play outside and enjoy the fresh air. The campfire was nice in the evening and the views were beautiful in the morning. There is a Dollar General about 3 miles away if you need supplies. Our family will vacation here again.

Amazing Cabin, Perfect for Family

I can't say enough positive things about this cabin. The yard was well maintained, the interior is gorgeous, and there is a ton of space indoor and out. My family had a Thanksgiving get together here and couldn’t be happier. There are two full stoves, stocked cabinets with cups and diningware, plenty of counter top space and all kinds of seating. The owner is quick to respond, and clearly cares about the guests. Highly recommend!

Happy family reunion!

It was great that each room had it's own bathroom. Everyone was impressed with the house and the low cost of the trip. We do a family reunion trip every other year and have stayed in VRBO's in several cities. Sometimes, you get a surprise when you compare the house to the listing on the website, but not this one. It was just as advertised! And the scenery around the Buffalo River is gorgeous!

Amazing location!

My husband and I had our friends and family stay at the cabin for our wedding! It was a perfect set up for a large group with lots of rooms and bathrooms. The living area was plenty big for us all and the back decks are a quiet and beautiful place to hangout. The location is secluded and very private, surrounded by woods. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We all drove out to Sam's Throne for the ceremony. It was an excellent time. We will be back someday to celebrate our anniversary!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

Great time of disconnecting with the hustle and bustle, and reconnecting with family and friends. Having a bathroom in each bedroom was super as we had six different family units. Younger kids had fun playing around the cabin; older kids went exploring on the atv. Adults mostly got to sit around and supervise. Had a couple of small kitchen appliances that weren’t working but we easily worked around it. Kitchen was good sized; easily fit several adults preparing meals. Jeff was SUPER to work with!

First time for the family's siblings vacation, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Plenty of rooms, great dining room to accommodate all of us for a single seating, fire ring for smores, we even had low fly overs from the base up the road. It was a great stay.
