"The Quaint Cottage was adorable visually, cozy comfortable and a very relaxing getaway. Just what we needed after and before some stressful days. The sky is quite dark allowing a magnificent viewing of the stars and milky way! The Peloton only works if you already have a Peloton subscription however the outdoor sauna was enjoyable. The owner and manager were communicative and well attentive to our needs. It's a pleasant 20 minute drive from Woodstock where we enjoyed a variety of restaurants, music and entertainment. "My husband and I stayed at the Chapel on Lisa's beautiful property for a quick mid-week getaway. Lisa was a delight and incredibly welcoming. The space and property exceeded expectations! A wonderful visit all around. "

"The location of this little gem is great but, a little hard to find. The tall shrub has grown to cover part of the high sign that indicates the street number. If you are going here, and you are NOT turning onto Heintz Rd near the Inn, go straight and just as the road curves to the left, the driveway is straight ahead. If you turn by the Inn, the drive will be on your left, a millisecond before the road curves to the right and a 2 house road continues straight. There is basically NO internet/cell signal anywhere in the area, within the Catskills region. The WiFi at the Hidaway works well (I did have to try a few times before I connected the first time)!! Use your GPS to find places when on the WiFi and then, do not turn anything off on your way to your next stop. Another tip would be to download the regional map before going to the Catskills. You can do this in Google Maps (I did this for the Dominican Republic before we went), not sure about other apps. The second sitting/sleep space (not shown in the photos, with the pullout couch is basically the size of the couch. Also, if someone sleeps in there, they have to walk through the main sleeping area to get to the bathroom. So, would only recommend for a close relative/friend or a child. The step-up in the bathroom to the toilet caused a lot of toe stubbing!! Otherwise, it was entirely perfect for a couple to stay for a few days. We cooked minimally and sat outside. We also used the sauna which was a great perk!"

"This is a wonderful property for relaxing and for entertaining. The kitchen is well laid out for meals prep and hanging out. The large living room is also a great gathering place. The deck is huge and our family and friends dined there comfortably. The property is only minutes from many fine restaurants and fun shopping. The setting and scenery are beautiful and we found a great nearby area for walking. Longer trails were located a short drive away. It certainly lived up to its' description and then some. Would we return? ABSOLUTELY!"

"Absolutely loved the place and location. Unique building, being a silo, but the layout is fantastic. Great main floor with deck, wonderful private master upstairs with well done bathroom. We did not use the downstairs for sleeping, bottom floor ( tri level) but walked through and seems just as well done as the rest. Loved sitting on the deck at night with the fire pit going, just chilly enough to enjoy it a keep the bugs away ( weren’t bad anyway). Our headquarters for hiking and exploring. Slogged up overlook mtn near Woodstock, good tough hike on easy path/trail. Enjoyed shorter hikes as well as time in Woodstock plus dinned Saturday night in Phoenicia (steakhouse). All in all a great time and great place that is out of the way. Make sure you have your map downloaded as there is no cell as you get close to the Silo. Lots of spotty cell all over the valley, including in some of the towns. Thanks Olga, really enjoyed the stay!"
