It is such a beautiful hotel. Very beachy feeling. The decor in my room was very pretty. Whitney at the front desk was an absolute gem. Very sweet, and very friendly.

Clean and comfortable room and bed. Right by the beach and a pizza place that had gluten-free options for one traveler. Great breakfast with lots of options, especially the sausage gravy, yummy. Some kids were noisy in the morning, but of course they were excited to be at the beach. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Not a fun place to stay. No room cleaning, had to get towels from maid who was not taking care of us as planned, the bar pics were for a bar that is permanently closed!! Personnel were very nice. Sink had large crack.

Walking to my room I noticed peeling paint, and a crumbling overhang and walls. Later when going out we had to go past shady looking folks sitting on the stairs doing drugs. . Our room was worn and dirty. We saw hair on shower wall when we arrived. Phone did not work. TV reception made it impossible to view. Towels and wash cloths were thin and rough. 1 tiny bath gel good for 1 person to take a shower. We paid $180 a night for a shelter experience.

Cons: I was told that it was within walking distance from downtown Fernandina. It was not. When we checked in I asked for a ground floor and was told that they were fully booked and couldn’t move me. I found that odd, because there were very few cars and we didn’t know what room we had until we got there. I just have To assume that they didn’t want to exert the extra effort. There were only two towels and no soap. I called and the desk told Me to come down to get them. That happened several times. There were cob webs and spider eggs along the ceilings and the staircase. Surprise for you when they hatch!!! Pros: front desk was nice, breakfast was hearty, plenty of hot water and great shower pressure. Hot tub was great! Very close to the beach, which we didn’t need, grills in the back, lots of stuff for a beach stay.

The hotel needs updating especially the rooms. Our room had an odor when we opened the door. Bed was fairly comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast buffet left alot to be desired. It was more of a self service continental breakfast. I would not call it a buffet For the price it was cheaper than most that i looked at near the ocean. I know weekend prices are much higher than weekday deals. I probably would not stay here again if i had a better choice.The office staff were helpful.

Arrived @ hotel around 2p and waited in line to check-in. I was told I couldn’t check in until 4p and didn’t get checked in until nearly 6p. No hand towels in room. 2 towels & 2 washcloths for 2 adults for 2 nights. Breakfast area & check-in area were very hot…AC must have been broken. Bed mattress was comfortable. Outside noise can be heard from inside room.

It was a basic room. Nothing special. Towels were worn-out, stiff and dingy. Not enough soap to take a proper bath. Unclean toilet, sink and counter. Stairwell and corridor to room was excessively dirty. I book through third party and was surprised with a $10 a day charge to park my vehicle.

It’s an affordable stay near the beach, nothing to write home about. Cons: -Ignore the website that says you get a “welcome gift,” we weren’t given one. -Bring your own shampoo, body wash, and face wash, as the hotel provides one super tiny sample-size 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. -The water pressure in the shower is weak. -The toilet makes a really obnoxious sound when you flush, so if your partner is a light sleeper, don’t flush in the middle of the night! Pros: -Close to the beach -Close to dining -Comfortable beds

No fresh towels never changed the sheets never came in to replenish anything. The air conditioning unit did not work it was humid and warmer than outside. It need some work the bathtub was peeling and was stained with dirt fairly disappointing

This hotel is going downhill... fast! We stayed here just 1 1/2 years ago and liked it just fine. Nothing super special, but clean and comfortable. After last weeks stay, we will not return! First room was not ready for us with the bed unmade and the ice bucket takes to the bathtub faucet. 2nd room was... fine. Again, nothing special. At least it was clean. The property is again... fine. Don't count on sleeping as there's a parking lot party every night that the hotel just seems to disregard! Toiletries are less than minimal. When our tiny bar of soap was used in one day, i asked for more and they didn't have any. The best part of the hotel is Amelia at the front desk.... she is an absolute gem!

This is a motel. It is conveniently a block or 2 to the beach, and it was cheap, and those are the reasons we chose it. However, in retrospect, we would not have stayed there, and we would not stay there again. It’s dated, feels like a motel because it is, did not do daily cleaning though we requested it (beach is sandy, this room is sandy), has very tired rooms, and paper thin walls. We heard noise from the corridors and other rooms until 3am both nights. The staff were reluctantly accommodating when they were there. However, the beach is lovely, a very short walk, continental breakfast was basic but good, and the pizza place next door was authentic and yummy.

Front desk manager was very helpful. Other concerns 3 nights no fresh towels or trash removal. Other guests have dogs which is fine but leash them. Dog came in while loading vehicle n jumps on bed n piddles. 50.00 security deposit?! Then at the end of stay we were charged 10.00 for parking each day… I know someone requires a urinalysis. I thought we were enduring spring break with all the partying n yelling it was a bit chaotic. Beautiful area close to the beach … that covers our experience.
