"We found this place to be very well stocked as far as the kitchen goes. It probably could've used more towels. The weather was not good so we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub as much as we wanted to. The grounds were still covered in snow too. I wanted the big back yard for my boys to play but they couldn't play with it being slushy. My boys really enjoyed the game shed out back. The hot tub was nice, but seemed heavy on the chlorine. I would say that a summer visit would be much more enjoyable."

"The cottage was absolutely beautiful in a calm area. It was very clean and everything was available for us, they even had an airfryer! I stayed with my 17 year old grandson for 2 days as he was doing a snowboarding course at Mount St-Louis. His ride to the hill in the morning was around 30 minutes but there was very little traffic and he said it was beautiful scenery. In the evening he was able to game with his friends, the internet was excellent as he played and I worked. The owner, Don, came by to shovel the deck every day (as we had a lot of snow). He was friendly and checked in on us to make sure we had everything. It was my first time using the BNB and I was pleasantly surprised. Don put the bar high for my next time. The other grandkids now want us to do a weekend trip because they are kind of jealous of our amazing little home. The price was incredible as well. If we had taken a hotel room, it would have been very expensive and we wouldn't have been as comfortable. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Angèle and Xavier"

"Great 5 weeks spent at 9 Wendake. Very cozy, quiet and enjoyed the place. Met lots of nice neighbours and appears to be close knit community, which is nice to see. We would go back! Loved the short walk to the beach, incredible sun sets and enjoyed the big deck! "

"Lack of toiletries & other house hold supplies, no response from host when trying to outreach. Had to go to the market & get stuff. We booked for 22 people & for 3 nights & all they had provided was 2 toilet rolls per washroom, shampoo, bodywash & conditioner bottles were kept in each bathroom; however they were XL size which are available in costco were & were empty when we checked in. The host had clearly mentioned in checkin instructions that they willNot be refilling the supplies & we had to pay for that too. Booking an luxurious & this expensive property & still have to worry about the little things is disappointing. The kitchen had bare minimum appliances & the bar had NO crockery at all. The kitchen was missing a basic necessity of a chopper or a grinder. Paid over 8k & still had to run errands to get the basics."
