Quiet hotel except for Thursday mornings

Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. I am surprised that the hotel allowed this immediately outside bedroom windows. Beware it happens on a Thursday morning. We booked half board but you get a very limited menu - not from the a la carte.

Amazing place 5***********

Owners fabulous and welcoming. Beds really comfy. Views beautiful. Close to a stunning village Iznajar. Already want to go back. Only thing I would change is the small caged bird which is common in Spain, heartbreaking :-( but otherwise love it here.

Great place. Fabulous location.

This is a 2 star hotel. What a surprise! The only criticisms are no kettle in the bedroom and breakfast starts at 8.30. As early risers we will take our travel kettle when we stay there in the not too distant future

Our room was okay. Only one bedside lamp as nowhere to plug the other into. A bit dark with just the one, so had to use the main light, this being very stark. Nowhere to plug things into for charging so we had to use the bathroom The code given for wifi was misleading. There are three networks identified upon connecting to your device, however the one named on the slip of paper given by the hotel is not the correct one used for connection. We had to ask for clarification from reception. Breakfast was adequate. Rear ground floor rooms are not very private as windows are on the terrace right next to where guest sit. Ask for one of the higher room. There'll be a better view too.

Was told it closed at midnight but not how noisy it would be , on the Friday night I was kept awake until 2am as they were still clearing up and the noise carried. Also wasn't t warned there was going to be a market setting up outside my room window at the crack of dawn

No es un ni de 2 estrellas. Es un antiguo cortijo muy mal conservado. Nos dieron una habitación con 3 camas separadas pero el precio si que se mantuvo como si hubiese sido una de las dobles que supongo que estarán mejor. No se puede pagar 64€ por este alojamiento. La limpieza escasa, todas las instalaciones antiguas y mal mantenidas. El desayuno muy malo también. El pueblo es bonito y el entorno merece la pena.

Andalusien Hotel

Wir waren bereits 2010 für 1 Nacht in diesem Hotel. Weil uns der Aufenthalt damals zu kurz war, sind wir diesmal für 5 Nächte dageblieben. Es ist sehr erholsam, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen und die Zimmer in Ordnung. Einheimische feiern in diesem Hotel gerne Ihre Hochzeit. Auch viele Motorradfahrer nutzen das Hotel für Zwischenübernachtung bei einer Rundreise in Andalusien.

Friends visiting Sth of Spain

We had been recommended to stay near this village as it is quaint & quieter than in a bigger city. The hotel had a pool which was really appreciated & great views. They provided a breakfast which was great & we ate dinner there 1 night as too far to walk to the village. A very relaxing place & we were tempted to stay longer but have to see more of Spain

Hotel limpio y en un bonito entorno.

El entorno del hotel era precioso, conseguimos una habitación que daba al pantano y tenía unas vistas muy bonitas. El hotel estaba limpio, el checkin fue muy rápido y en cuanto bajamos muy amablemente nos explicaron qué ver en el pueblo. El desayuno muy bueno con mucho para elegir y tomar. El patio donde está la piscina es muy bonito y con muchas mesas y sillas para disfrutar de las vistas. En general todo muy bien :)
