It was spotlessly clean, the pool was amazing and perfect with the views, the house is well stocked and our host Juan Carlos and his family were wonderful. Very thoughtful and kind and helped us with all kinds of local insights. We all highly recommend this home. There is a lot to see and do in the towns and area nearby. We loved our stay."

"This is a nice house to get away from the business of the city life. The house is well equipped and we enjoy our stay, despite the barking dogs in front of the house. The only problem we encounter was the unstable Wi-Fi, which was very important for or daughter as she works remotely."

"La maison est magnifique, très agréable à vivre : 5 chambres 5 sdb et un très gd espace à vivre extérieur. Le BBQ est top, la vue est superbe, si on aime les gds espaces tranquilles ç est top. La piscine est très bien aussi et les transats suffisamment nombreux pour 8. Seul bémol pas de machine à laver et nous n'y avions pas prêter attention lors de notre réservation, pas de climatisation non mais nous le savions (des ventilateurs au plafond font l'affaire. Peut-être manque t il des rangements...

Easy access to local towns and motorway to main places to visit. Antequerra particularly nice to visit.Other tourist resorts within 30 kms to get back to some excellent shopping in Torremolinos and Malaga. Car essential unless you are a mountain goat! "Beautiful hotel. Great rooms and the pool area is excellent. Very attentive and helpful staff. The food at their Michelin star restaurant La Finca was amazing, the food at El Mirador, the lunch venue, was good but a bit pricey, the food at the bar restaurant came short for a 5 star hotel. The pool cocktail were disappointing. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Options for restaurants nearby were limited. But lots of great day tip opportunities (La Ronda, Granada, Malaga, etc.)"

"A wonderful place to stay in an amazing place. The view out our hotel window alone was worth the price - which was very reasonable and breakfast was included! Our interest was a days bike ride on the Via Verde del Aciete and this place proved to be a perfect base for that. The bike rental place that the hotel works with is excellent."

"If you are a couple traveling in southern Spain, you really want to spend time here! Especially if you want peace and tranquility. Everything is as beautiful as the photos. The owners live on the property and are very kind people who seemed genuine about wanting the best experience for us. They gave us total privacy unless we wanted to talk to them. The casita and pool are in their lush garden and the trees makes you feel you are all on your own. Our stay was 5 days and we wished we planned a longer stay. Without question, this was the best stay during our 5 week visit to Spain. Thank you so much Christa and Pascal!!Joyce and Michael, May 2025"

Close to Alcazaba

"Very comfortable apartment, top floor with good views. Parking was very easy (wide entrance) and felt secure. Good location, very short walk to the Alcazaba, short walk down into town. Views from rooftop was beautiful. Only thing to note was that a) cleaners in the morning were loud & came into our room with knocking and b) likely because we were on the top floor, the wifi was weak."
