The Grand Hotel

"This is the second stay at The Grand. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We were bed and breakfast , the bed was very comfortable, the room was a decent size and the breakfast was very good. Although the room was clean the main window needs attention as putty is missing which makes it drafty and also it needs painting. The flat roof outside is an eyesore. We found the wifi poor and the size of the tv too small for the size of the room. A big positive for us is the location of the railway station as we will both be 80 years old in a few months we tend to use the train and not the car. We will certainly stay in The Grand in the future and would go for a higher room, as we previously had, in the hope we would have a better view. Thank you for our enjoyable stay."

"Newish hotel, very clean, staff very helpful. No access to rooftop terrace due to private event. Food good and reasonable price. Bedroom doors very heavy to open. Dogs accepted and allowed to fight and bark in the restaurant area."

"This hotel has over 800 rooms, over 8 floors. My Room has twin double beds in it. An impressively large work space and TV stand, this seems purpose built. Also All of the double sockets has usb port integration as well as the standard UK three pin plug. There are tea making facilities in the room, which is replenished everyday along with room service and cleaning. Leonardo's offer a buffet style breakfast this includes contenental and cooked English Breakfast. This is Eat as much as you like, and the price resinable. Leonardo Hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of the city centre, and is served by several regular bus services. ' The hotel, has its own restaurant and bar, that serves an all-you-can-eat Breakfast., Which consists of both continental and full English breakfast"
