This property is located on a working sheep farm in the picturesque Devonshire countryside, within walking distance to two lovely country pubs, which make the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal, or cosy up with a pint. Dartmoor is just a short distance away, offering scenic walks, cycling routes, horse riding, and bouldering. Twelve miles south of the property, the village of Bigbury-on-Sea has a beautiful sandy beach, with access across to Burgh Island at low tide, either on foot or by sea tractor. Within a thirty-minute drive of the property, the historic city of Plymouth offers boat trips, the National Marine Aquarium, and the waterfront Barbican district with its Mayflower Museum, arts centre, and a choice of pubs and restaurants.


Guests entering this attractive, single-storey property, will find themselves in the light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where a cosy wood burner keeps the lodge lovely and warm, even in the coolest winter months. The sofa makes a comfortable place to relax, and perhaps enjoy a film on the TV. The kitchen area is located at one end of the room, beyond the wooden dining table, and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and washer/dryer. A curtained doorway leads to the pretty bedroom with a beamed ceiling, and double bed. The wet room, which is located beyond the bedroom, offers a shower and WC.


Outside, there is an attractive patio garden with seating and a BBQ, to the front of the property, with stunning countryside views. Guests should note that there is a small pond next to the patio, so caution should be exercised with any dogs.
