"Nach Anfangskontakt sind wir (wie angeraten) über die Fähre in Wischhafen angereist. Diese Entschleunigung hat gutgetan. Der Vermieter begrüsste uns mit "Moin", das wir fortan gebrauchten. Die Wohnung war noch grösser als auf den Photos, Bad & Küche waren supergut ausgestattet; gewöhnen mussten wir uns an den Gebrauch des Induktionherdes. Dank des EdekaLadens um die Ecke war die (norddeutsche!) Verpflegung gesichert. In Gehweite lag der Marktplatz, dessen Restaurants wir oft und gerne !!...

"Wir hatten eine schöne Woche an der Elbe. Die Wohnung war sehr schön und man konnte sich wohlfühlen. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung war allerdings lückenhaft und das Benehmen der Hundebesitzer schlicht unmöglich. Man führt seinen Hund nicht aus, um ihn vor anderen Terassen sein Geschäft verrichten zu lassen. Den Fahrradkeller haben wir nur per Zufall gefunden und der Ausblick war auch nur mäßig."

"Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer, ruhig gelegen, bequeme Betten, der Check-in und -out dank Schlüsselkarte sehr unkompliziert, sehr gute und nette Kommunikation im Vorfeld. Das Zimmer wird durch die Lage unterm Dach sehr schnell warm, aber dank Klimaanlage ist auch das kein Problem. Toll wäre ein Fliegengitter am Fenster und etwas mehr Ablagefläche im Bad. Die Dachterrasse ist im Sommer sicherlich schön zu nutzen, liegt aber direkt zur Hauptstraße, so dass mancher sich bestimmt durch den Verkehrslärm gestört fühlt. "It is a really fabulous historic building that has been restored to it's former glory. The apartment is on the upper floor and covers the whole floor. So it is latge and comfortable with a small backyard looking balcony. We really enjoyed our stay. A backery is just around the corner and downtown Elmshorn just a few minute walk away. The Hosts are very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Could not have asked for better hosts. We loved it!"
