Great location at the bottom of campus. The lobby level is cozy and good amenities. Room was comfortable and quiet. The electronic blinds in my room didn’t close all the way so they moved me to another room (luckily they had an open one!). The rooms are small, electronically controlled and casting TVs. I would definitely stay here again. It felt more like a B&B without the breakfast.

My son goes to Cornell and this location made my visit easily walkable. The property was clean, quiet, and I felt safe. I will certainly stay here again.

It’s very cute with all the Cornell themed decorations, comfortable, nice lounge area with a tap bar, very friendly staff, and so convenient to campus.

I loved loved loved the Dorm Hotel! It's a unique little boutique hotel, perfect for a solo traveler. Everything adorable and clean as a whistle. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I was deeply grateful for the kitchen/bar area where I was able to pour myself a glass of wine (charged by the dispensed ounce, using to the room card) to help me relax after my six hour drive. Then I made myself a delicious dinner from the available food (honor system) without having to go out in bad weather. Fun to cross paths with other guests in the lovely common areas. The only reason I knocked one star off comfort and ecofriendly was because they used a heavily perfumed laundry detergent for the bedding. I sniffled and sneezed, and had to take migraine medication because strong scents can be triggers for many of us migraine sufferers. The Dorm Hotel is obviously very health and eco conscious, so I'm sure once made aware, they will gladly switch to fragrance free cleaning and laundry products for their guests with sensitivities. Even with that bit of discomfort, I will happily stay at The Dorm whenever I'm in Ithaca.

Everything was great, staff was super friendly, amenities were perfect and the hotel is super cute. Only downside was the noise level. On the first night, I was awoken by a phone conversation in a room down the hall which started at 3:45a and lasted for more than an hour.

Very charming property. Remember that it is called "The Dorm" for a reason...all the good parts of a dorm without the downsides. Very nice lounge and kitchen area. Great location given proximity to Cornell and Ithaca.

Excellent all-round, especially if you're coming alone (or just need a "single") and/or want more nostalgia (and proximity to Cornell campus and Collegetown) and at very reasonable rates that probably can't be beat! Do definitely realize though it'll feel a lot like staying at a (albeit decked out, new, somewhat more adult) dorm. :-) Do wish they offer coffee earlier than 8am plus also later in the day/evening though...

Great location next to Cornell. A bit too quiet in the lobby. Would be nice to have more of a B&B vibe where people talked with each other when hang tea or wine. Everyone was so into themselves not sure why the lobby common area did that to people !!

The Dorm Hotel is a small boutique hotel near Cornell. The hotel is decorated fun, clever murals of Cornell mottos, mascots and sayings. My room was really cute as well. The hotel staff was also very welcoming and helpful.
