Directions should mention that the route is several miles down dirt road!! Proprietors not on site. Cell service very spotty, so hard to reach them. They were very nice. Extremely quiet site.

Restful stay near Ithaca, Finger Lakes attractions

The house was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The hostess was exceptional. It's a bit out of the way, but worth the trip.

quite a moving experience.

I saw a deer the second morning, a raccoon the first. the fog resting in the valleys is just awesome. plenty of food in the kitchen.

Schönes Farmhaus

Wir hatten nur eine Nacht in Humble Hill. Der Eingang über die Garage ist im dunklen etwas abschreckend aber im Farmhaus ist dann alles wunderbar. Die dort lebende Familie ernährt sich vegan so war es auch kein Problem ein vegetarisches Frühstück zu bekommen. Sehr nett Gastgeber. Alles sehr sauber. Liebevoll eingerichtet Zimmer.

For a deep rural vibe

If your goal is to escape this is the place. The owners like the farm are humble and kind. Perfectly suited to the person who likes rustic. Lovely area. Lovely family.

Great B & B in a scenic are.

It was very pleasant place to stay - spotless, and nicely decorated with simple yet solid furnitures. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. It is tucked away in a quiet farming area 20 minutes south of Ithaca downtown, close to state parks in surrounding area. Patty, our hostess was very hospitable and helpful in giving us information about areas to visit. She made us delicious home made breakfast every morning, best pancakes I've tasted! We could use the kitchen to prepare simple meals during our stay. Thank you Patty for making our stay so comfortable. We would love to go back to visit sometime soon.

Very nice and rustic B and B

The proprietors were very nice and accomodating people. The room was very nice and everything was convenient. The farm is in the middle of nowhere (miles on a dirt road) which added to the rustic charm.

Amazing accommodations, amazing breakfast. 5 stars

This unique bed and breakfast rests on a farm that feels like home. A true taste of what "buying local" gets you- real people that REALLY care and accommodations to satisfy anyone. Excellent breakfast is the icing on the cake. This is by far a superior secret getaway off the beaten path. If you want to feel comfortable and welcomed stay here, if you want to be a #, call a local hotel chain. This bed and breakfast is exceptional!

Outstanding, Highly recommend this bed and breakfast

This is a wonderful small bed and breakfast that we highly recommend. It is a very peaceful, friendly place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is not a luxury resort or romantic retreat, but it was very clean and comfortable. The proprietor was warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. Her breakfasts were outstanding and we are delighted that we found this gem of a place to stay near Ithaca. We hope to be back in the near future!

Land lady very pleasant and friendly. Be aware there are not good eating places around and no gas stations in the vicinity. You do get a good hearty breakfast in the morning and the place was clean.

Off the beaten path; just what we wanted!

As you travel up a stone road in the middle of the woods, you start to wonder what you have gotten yourself into. Upon arrival, Patricia greeted us warmly and ushered us inside. The accomodations are inviting and cozy, and the wood fire was still burning due to th cool NY nights. The bedroom was comfortable with appealing decor, and the common room and kitchen felt homey and inviting. Breakfasts were nutritious and delicious with a fresh and healthy organic ingredients. All the guests staying there were very sociable, and Patricia was a delight! Looking forward to another stay for a wine tour, fall foliage, or just relaxing. Make sure to go 30 minutes south to Owego; a quaint town on the Susquehanna with antiquing and the most amazing mountainside cemetery.

The breakfast would be hard to beat: Fresh fruit, yoghurt, omelets, etc. served up by a friendly gracious hostess.

Very secluded but wonderful

The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The room was comfortable. The facilities were clean and were more than I was expecting. Breakfast was very good with local ingredients.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast

My family will absolutely stay here again on future visits to the Ithaca area. Wonderful hospitality, charming farmhouse, great home cooked breakfast, close to Cornell yet away from it all!! Our hostess contacted us ahead of time to see if we had any dietary restrictions for breakfast or special needs for our room. She also provided detailed driving directions in case we needed them (which was very helpful as we were unfamiliar with the area and arrived after dark). Could not ask for a more pleasant stay!

Comfortable Hospitality

Came to the Ithaca to see the gorges and waterfalls. Our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. The therapeutic bed was very comfortable indeed. The breakfasts were great. Our host was gracious and friendly. Recommend this B&B

Comfy room in a peaceful setting

I needed a place to stay for a meeting at a nearby college, and I was delighted to find this guesthouse, which is a refreshing alternative to the overpriced chain hotels in the area. I stayed in the tempurpedic room (with shared bath). The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved the peaceful setting. It's only about 20 minutes' drive from downtown Ithaca and the colleges (Cornell and Ithaca), but it feels like a different world. Surrounded by woods and farms, the land surrounding Humble Hill is gorgeous. In the morning, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast with omelets and farm-fresh potatoes. Will definitely return if I find myself in this area again!

A Charming and Warm Experience

We were visiting our child who is attending Cornell and were looking for an interesting and pleasant place to stay. We found it at Humble Hill Farm. The newly renovated house was Charming and Clean.There are 3 Individual bedrooms with a central living room for guests. The hostess was amazing--a wonderful cook (accommodating all dietary requests) and a very warm person. Plus, if you are interested, you can have her grandchildren (who live down the road) give you an informative tour of their organic farm. We will be back!
