Food was okay except for overcooked eggs and omelette which were made to order. The room was way too dark as if it was meant to just sleep. Wifi password needed to be updated quite often and daily even if we stayed >1 week. There was no option for just entering a Wifi password just once.

This wasn’t my first time staying at Dosso Dossi Downtown, and like always, it never disappoints. From the moment you arrive, the service and staff go above and beyond honestly, they deserve a 20 out of 10. Friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and everything just runs so smoothly. It truly feels like a home away from home. Amazing stay once again I’ll definitely be coming back!

Have previouly stayed in a few different 5* hotels in Istanbul however, what sets Dosso Dossi downtown apart has to be its cleanliness and amazing gym and SPA facilities. Additionally the members of staff are very polite and helpful. Definitely a hotel worth considering if you are staying in the area!

It's on the main road and lots of Cafe's next to the hotel. Room was good. Lobby space outside the room is the biggest I've seen amongst hotels. The spa services were amazing. Turkish bath is a must. Breakfast was decent.. limited options for Vegetarians. Lunch was good. Service excellent. Located in the bustling area of Istanbul. Trams are at a 15 min walking distance. Overall experience was very Good

Turkish Bath service

The service of Turkish bath is very terrible with women ho do this service. We pay 75 Euro per person for too persons but the service was bad.

Definitely not 5 stars, the $100 holding fee was not mentioned at the time of booking, was given a room by the noisy lifts with drainage smells, connecting door to occupied room next door and views of a backstreet when booked otherwise. Was given another room with a huff and it was not up to 5* standard they claim. Charge €2 if you lose your room card which never happens in any hotel, chain or not. Staff glued to their phones and avoided contact with guests unless forced to deal with at reception. Breakfast is diabolical, basement room with the most basic offerings, staff left the place a mess and only picked up dirty plates when the boss came in on our last day. Oh and a mouse running around the room floor and cleaners were too scared so ran off. As someone who stays in hotels twice a week around the world I do not recommend this establishment unless you want something extremely basic and happy to deal with noise and not up to standard rooms. Pictures were taken of obvious things not hidden/atypical.

Front desk staff are very nice , thank you Yousef for getting the shoes, it was very nice of you guys Much appreciated. I want to thank the management for going the extra mile for making my daughter. Rooms are super clean, nice pool, etc great breakfast Hotel is about 15 minutes train ride, 10 minutes car about an hour walking distance to all attractions They have the same hotel in old city which much closer to all sites

Disappointing Experience

I booked a room with a city view, but upon arrival, I was informed that no such room was available. Instead, I was given a different room that did not match my reservation. Additionally, while the hotel advertises free pool access, they require guests to purchase a mandatory head cover for around 10 euros—an unreasonable price for an item that costs significantly less. The staff could benefit from additional training, particularly in customer service. They should provide accurate information about room availability at check-in and treat guests with more transparency and respect.
