"Truly special night on the island with Palais. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, the atmosphere was intimate, magical, and the views stunning. Can't think of a better place to stay while here. "

"The property is small but the owner is awesome and helped us a lot in many ways. Just keep in mind that it’s not for kids but pretty walkable to many famous attractions. Rooms were clean but small; and again the staff were so helpful!"

"I stayed in this hotel with my parents for ten days. We had a comfortable stay. Our room was spacious and cleaned everyday. The staff was very friendly and kind. The hotel is located in Fatih, the blue mosque, hagia sofia, suleymaniye mosque, grand bazar, topkapi palace and tram station is in a walking distance. You can easily find good restaurants near the hotel. "

"Acceptable breakfast buffet, constantly replenished. A beautiful historic building with an incredible staircase. Friendly staff. Sufficient number of sinks and shower stalls. However, you have to wait a while for hot water and the plumbing needs an update. Bed linen and towels also look quite worn. Overall, an acceptable option for the money in the very center of Taksim. But keep in mind that it can be very noisy on Friday and Saturday until 2 AM, as there are entertainment venues located...

"we order the rooms, confirmed by Expedia by email, got We booked and paid for rooms through Expedia, received confirmation by email, and drove all the way to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were told the rooms were unavailable due to an issue and that Expedia had been informed—but this was never communicated to us. As a result, we were left to find alternative accommodation in a busy city, which was extremely stressful. To make matters worse, it took a full day to receive a response from Expedia....

"Went for 5 nights excellent staff , brekky was amazing and wonderful views either side , really central to everything 5-10 mins walking to grand bazaar , aya Sofia , blue mosque and the t1 on the door step what more could you want"
"This hotel presents as clean and good for a quick airport layover stay. Not sure if I’d stay for a long journey. The room card entry panels weren’t working so the staff had to walk guest to the room, unlock the room and then if you needed to go out and go back and we had to go back to the front desk and ask them to unlock the room. Really frustrating."
"The cleanliness, breakfast or services did not meet 5 star standards. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this is around 3 star worthy. We had a wet carpet for our entire stay and hotel staff clearly just didn’t understand or try to understand what we was saying. We had to request new towels daily & our room was only cleaned once on a 4 night stay. Cleaning staff enter the room despite the clearly displayed sign left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, on two occasions (one morning) and we do not believe this was handled appropriately at all.
We were additionally disappointed with the breakfast. The breakfast selection had very little variety. Although we paid for breakfast as part of our stay, we only ate there once and ended up purchasing breakfast elsewhere for the remainder of the trip due to the poor experience.
Spa tried to charge us full price despite online stating 20% off for people staying in the hotel - when queried she offered 15% off instead - booked this hotel for the spa experience and did not end up doing!
Located in a good place where most things are walking distance."
"For $300+ for a few hours of rest, I expected better. I expected toilet paper in the bathroom, and paper towels. It is certainly convenient but just skeeves me out a bit. The staff was responsive when asked, but I should not have had to. It was relatively quiet, but not totally. Unlikely I will return - my youth hostel days are over."
