"A rushed overnight stay for us on the way to Pozzallo ferry… convenient drive the next am to catch an early ferry. Chosen on the basis that we were arriving late and they had a manned late night reception. From our quick impression, gardens seemed charming and breakfast was nice. Bed was not the most comfortable and new motorway somewhat mars their view in the distance. "

Created in the outbuildings the features of our room were tasteful and modern but retained all the charm of this historic building.There was no restaurant or bar area but just a short ride into town there are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. "This hotel is in an old palazzo, refitted to be small apartments. Ours had a bedroom and kitchen with a table for four. But no sitting area... there was one adjacent to our apartment but open to all guests. Also, they don't warn you that there is a 40 euro charge for using the kitchen. Breakfast was OK but nothing special compared with others we had on our trip. But the real issue is Ispica. There is nothing to recommend the town... limited sites and restaurants.
