"We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

"Well what an absolute pleasure it was to stay here not only were we treated like friends I think myself and Alberto who with his wife own this beautiful house actually became just that friends. We were on our motorcycle tour of 6 weeks when I booked the nights stay here on our way from Lake Como to Ljubljana in Slovenia. "Location is great. That’s it. The rest is terrible or very basic. The rooms are probably from 1980 or earlier (see the photos). The price per room is around 300 euro per night. This is the lowest standard we ever been to considering the fee. Rude and arrogant receptionist (the blonde one). Room dirty see the photos. I would rather sleep in a car than stay in this room. "

"This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome "

"Good location, near city center. Too small for a family of four (no space for eating when sofa bed is open). Building with construction work ongoing. Loud noise from boiler when neighbors used the water. Limited kitchen amenities."

"Wonderful place with room that offer great comfort. The thoughtful details in the room, such as a variety of coffee and tea options, snacks, and comfortable pillows, make it very welcoming. The hotel also features an excellent restaurant with views of the river and the historic bridge. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The property manager was welcoming and helpful. Beautiful well-maintained pool and a nice covered outdoor area, with glorious views over the valley. Good location for sight-seeing. House was clean, and air conditioning was good except in the kitchen, which we found hot and cramped in the summer. Accommodation was arranged into three separate flats which didn't suit our family, especially given that the main sitting room was in one and the kitchen in another. One door had a faulty hinge, which we reported, which meant we were unable to use it during our stay. One toilet had rusty fixings and wasn't properly attached to the floor. Overall we had a pleasant stay but the property needed some maintenance. "
