were super-convenient. The scenery is gorgeous. Beautiful ocean right down the stairs. It's 5 minutes from Cueva del Indio. The owner stopped by a few times. I dunno. If you want a bougie hotel room, this is not the place! But it was clean and honest and basically serves the purpose. "

"4 married couples and their 5 children set out for a Puerto Rican adventure and stumbled across the Atlantic Sands Oasis. Having never been to PR we didn't know what area was best, but this house would fit us so we took the risk. When I say dreamy vacation , I mean dreamy vacation! "The house is located across the street from a great beach and there are places to eat within a short walk. The town of Arecibo is a short drive away and we shopped for groceries and fun gifts. The prices were really low compared to mainland US, although sit-down restaurants are as expensive as on the mainland. Our party of 9, including 2 children, found the house to be perfect. "We stayed with our 3 kids and they enjoyed a lot. The house is very clean, quiet location with all necessary appliances in the kitchen. Bath towels are provided. We enjoyed a lot the pool and jacuzzi. Communication with the host was excellent. We went to a nearby beach, excellent for kids. It is La Poza de Don Guelo or Playa Caracoles. Also, La Puntilla is very good, a place to eat with various restaurants. We did brunch at a very good place called Simple. We exoect to return to Villa Cecilia...
