"The hotel is a striking and unusual building, very handsome, though we would have appreciated better signs - the rooms in the 400s, which had to be accessed through the library, were difficult to find when first arriving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the location of the hotel, near the seafront sights (the Mary Rose museum, Nelson's flagship Victory, etc) and the ferry ports. "Very friendly and helpful staff wether it be waitress receptionist or cleaner nothing was to much trouble. We had a family room which was spacious with comfortable beds and a roomy ensuite. We dined at the hotel every night and the meals were delicious, well cooked, plentiful and reasonably priced we had no complaints to make about anything. This was our second time of staying at this hotel and we would definitely stay again."
