"Property beautifully presented, high level of cleanliness, nearly everything equipped just missing a couple of kitchen items, like small plates and heat protector stands. Price was expensive due to our original 2 week holiday which was booked 6 months in advance being cancelled 2 weeks prior to holiday date, which lead to booking this property as only property available on the Isle of Skye which made it expensive for a week!!"

"It is well located just opposite to the Loch which is exponentially good for the tourist, and a good base for the people who wants to cover the isle of Skye. Staffs are good and check in check out is hassle free .."

Sligachan Hotel

"Across the street from the Sligachan bridge, so you’re able to go take photos in early morning or night without any crowds. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and updated, and there was ample parking. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant next door was super welcoming. The only downside was there was construction going on. Would recommend staying here again!"

Tingle Creek Hotel

"This place sounded like a place you'd find in Australia. Not to be confused with Australis's own Wolf Creek. The isolation is the only thing these two places have in common, but Tingle Creek is a much more peaceful and quiet location. Shower was great, bed even better and the breakfast allowed you to choose from hot and cold selection, choosing how much and what you wanted to eat. Ive been to many hotels with breakfast included and a lot goes to waste as they often give you too much. They don't offer dinner but maybe that will come in time. Still I would rate this place. "Even though the final 2 miles were a bit challenging (not the property's responsibility), we felt the drive worth it. The food was excellent to the extent we were there four nights and didn't feel like going anywhere else. The staff was excellent! They were courteous and friendly. A real pleasure."

"We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. We were probably going to miss dinner one night but the staff said they’d put in an order for us at 8:15 pm so we could roll in with a reserved seat and eat before they closed. Nice! Breakfast was good and customers can order an egg a different way if you prefer something other than scrambled. We realized our back patio door didn’t lock and we let the front desk know. Parking is tight but the staff actually walked outside to help us get settled somewhere each night. The staff bent over backwards for us! Second floor had some historical pictures of the area and they weren’t great but the art on the first floor was bright and fun. The upstairs pictures might be changing with the construction. The hotel dining areas had excellent views of the water and mountains. The food was really good and tried different things both evenings. We really enjoyed it! I think, if I’m remembering correctly that it was under new management starting in late 2025-early 2026 so whatever they are doing differently, they are doing it right! Loved it and would go back again if we are ever back in the area."

"Can’t say too much about how amazing an experience our stay was. Check in process, the room, the scotch in the room, the tour, and the food in the restaurant but above all of that were the staff. Without exception, they went above and beyond to make things special. A slightly wider double bed would be the only thing that I’d change. Just visit!!"
