    This inviting Port O' Call getaway is the perfect place for a comfortable beach holiday with your family or friends. You are sure to love the top floor location, which allows for an open-air balcony with the most amazing ocean views. The entire space has been completely renovated and features new appliances, updated lighting, new paint inside and out, and professional decor. The screened porch is the perfect place to enjoy a meal al fresco. Just downstairs, you have access to a community pool and walkway to the beach. Port O'Call C-303 also offers a wet bar in case you'd like to host a little gathering.



    This charming retreat might be nestled away in the quiet community of Wild Dunes, however, it's surprisingly convenient! It's less than a five-mile drive to local shopping and dining, the Isle of Palms Marina, and supermarkets. This city is a hot spot for swimming, surfing, fishing, and outdoor recreation of all kinds. Make sure to visit Crabpot Players, a performing arts theatre. This getaway is also only 17.5 miles from Historic City centre Charleston!

Booked A Stay - even after reading other reviews

Read the reviews beforehand. Was slightly concerned. Plenty of good, but also more than just a few bad. Was exactly what we needed for our short long-weekend stay at the beach. We didn’t cook many meals in the kitchen, nor did we host any guests. It was just what we needed for a place to crash before we headed out for the day / night. The shower head displayed some mold and the overall bathroom was aged more than the rest of the house (but accurately displayed in pics). Bed could be upgraded. Reminded me of an old spring camp mattress. Beyond that - this was a great value and great place to stay for our long weekend. Gave it 4* because I believe 5 is outstanding in all facets. But I would absolutely stay here again for a return visit.

Short Port O’Call Stay

Condo was clean upon arrival. You do have to initially stop at Vacasa office in IOP to obtain Wild Dunes Parking passes (other stays within Wild Dunes do not require this - instead you obtain from the Wild Dunes gate). Wifi password provided by Vacasa was incorrect - look inside binder at the property for correct one if Vacasa has not updated their wifi information. Bed was full size versus queen and not super comfortable. For the kitchen - do not expect to make big meals due to lack of utensils, etc. coffee pot is provided but no keurig, so bring coffee grounds! Be careful with the dryer, it ate up multiple pairs of our shorts! However, for the price of this rental compared to other Wild Dunes rentals, the quality is expected.

Good Ole Tidewater

Been staying at WD since 1996. Never owned, always rented or stayed with fiends. Tidewater is one of the older condos but well kept, lots of parking, two nice pools and only 3 stories right on beach. This units pros: cable with high speed internet(faster than work),clean and well kept up except bathroom. Con’s: bathroom not dirty but needed face lift 10 yrs ago. Tile coming apart in shower. Toiletries were inadequate compared to other WD rentals. Add lists bicycles coming with unit. That was a typo that is still in add. They are available to rent. Biggest gripe is the master only has a full size bed. Not even a queen.

If you're not familiar with South Carolina or Wild Dunes, this listing can be really confusing. At first glance, it looks like it's part of the Wild Dunes Resort, but it’s not. Its only on the same property, but we couldnt use any of the pools or anything on the resort. That was a big disappointment for us and made planning difficult, especially since we thought we’d have access to resort amenities—which we didn’t. The view was lovely—right by the water, which was the highlight of the stay. But beyond that, the experience was frustrating. The unit itself felt very outdated. Old furniture, stained couches, and appliences that didnt really work. We had a later flight and asked if we could store our bags anywhere—no luck. There’s no on-site office or in-person support, which made everything feel more complicated than it needed to be. While we appreciated being granted a later checkout, the cleaning crew still showed up at the regular time, which made things chaotic. Apparently, they hadn’t been informed of the time change. Overall, if the listing had just been clearer that this isn't a resort property, we could’ve made a more informed decision. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress. However, there was a pool nearby and easy beach access, so that is a positive. The only reason the positive is hard to weigh becuase of the impressions that we thought we would be on the resort.

Friendly neighborhood and beautiful place

We found this property last minute for a wedding that was held in Patriots Point. The property was easy to find, at a beautiful location, and had everything we needed.

Great beach vacation

Great location. Property is getting old and could use a spiff up, but this was the cleanest our condos have ever been. Also instructions were excellent

Comfortable and convenient

Furnishings are very comfortable though I would prefer a king bed when we travel. Kitchen is sparsely outfitted but we had what we really needed. We would stay there again. Rooftop patio a bonus!

A Little Slice of Paradise

This is our second stay and definitely not our last! The condos are far enough down the beach that it is like a private beach! But, if you want activity, all you need to do is walk a bit toward the town!

Great place by the ocean!

We did a sweet 16 trip for my niece with myself & grandma. This property did not disappoint. The property felt very secure. The condo was very clean and tidy. Plenty of furniture for relaxing and listening to the ocean. Wonderfully located right next to the beach, it's just a short walk away.

Great spot!

My husband and I stay at POC every year, this was our first time staying in this unit and it was just like the listing showed and described. Perfect location for the beach and pool, lovely views from the roof and the screened porch. Bed was comfy, shower had good pressure. Could use a dusting, but was clean. May want to bring something to make the tv smart capable. Will be back in future, highly recommend!

Great location! Quiet area, easy access to pool and beach and a nice view. Condo could use some updates but overall would book again. Sliding doors to patio hard to open and shower door also. Mattress could be updated also.

Nice but this place needs a renovation

Stained carpet, grungy vent covers, black gunk on shower door tracks/frames, sad old drapes. This place has potential but desperately needs a do over. Good kitchen and a cool crows nest up top.
