Family home- Elizabeth's Cottage

This beach house has been in our family for over 50 years and through 4 generations. We hope you will make amazing memories like we have in this house and on this beach.

The house is located one block from two different beach paths. You can take 21st Ave Beach path or 23rd.
Location is just blocks away from the front beach, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. A short drive to the marina to grab lunch, fishing supplies, or walk alongside the water. House is 10 minutes to the heart of Mt. Pleasant, 10 minutes to Sullivan's Island, and 25 minutes to Historic Downtown Charleston.

The house can occupy 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 Queen size beds and 2 twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, Keurig, plates, silverware, ect. Beach towels and sand toys are provided as you head to the beach for the day.

Our favorite part of the house is relaxing on the screened in porch in the rocking chairs, listening to the ocean or spending quality time with one another on our quiet street. Spend time in the fenced in back yard underneath the beautiful oak tree.

Cute beach cottage

Perfect little cottage!

The location of this cottage is perfect. Super close to the beach and a short walk to the rec center, which has a wonderful playground and two very nice pickleball courts! Would love to stay here again sometime!!

Summer Vacation

We love Isle of Palms and this was the perfect spot to kick off summer! Location was great - very short walk to the beach. Everything was clean and just the right size for our small family. We would definitely stay here again.

Old friend meet up

Warm and friendly home. Very easy check in and great communication from the owner. Everything was clean and tidy with very close access to the beach. This place was perfect for us to catch up around the kitchen table and share many laughs. We all had a great time.

Darling cottage

This property was so clean! Pretty much spotless! The location was just a short 2 minute walk to beautiful beach. The neighborhood was quiet! I would love to stay there year after year!

Great location, very clean property!

My family of four recently stayed at this cottage for our summer vacation. The property was very clean and was very conveniently located to the beach (about a 5 minute walk!). In addition, the property came with beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella, all of which came in very handy. Would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a clean, well-located property in Isle of Palms. The property manager was very easy to work with and communication was very fast.

Cozy Cottage

The location of this property was perfect. The walk to the beach took no more than a few minutes. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for my family of four to stay upstairs together and downstairs for my dad. We loved the screened-in-porches because it was so nice to sit outside but not have to worry about any "pesty" insects. We were down for my sister's wedding and Loren was so amazing and flexible to help accommodate our needs for this trip. Great place to stay!!

Walkable To Most Everything In IOP

We stay in IOP annually and always try to find a place that is walkable to both the beach and the "center" of town, which is characterized by restaurants and shops and such. This home, while a little older and smaller than some in the area, absolutely checks that box and, being a block off Palm, it's very quiet. This rental is particularly good for one or two families traveling with a couple small kids, as there are two dedicated bedrooms with queen beds (one up and one down) and two twins, both upstairs on the landing. Additionally, the hosts are very hospitable and responsive.

Very lovely, clean, and convenient

We loved our stay. Close to the beach (short walk even for our 5 year old). Easy access to town. Very quite. So nice to have beach chairs and towels, as well as clean washing machine and dryer. We arrived super hungry and were so excited to see complementary cookies and water left for us by the host. Grocery store within 5 minutes of drive. Host was easy to reach when I had questions. Only thing I didn't like were air fresheners which had a very strong smell. The place was spotless so really didn't think they were needed.

A place of Quiet Retreat

Thanksgiving week vacation with siblings. My husband and I rented this house to accommodate my brother and his wife and my younger brother for the Thanksgiving holidays. We really enjoyed the porches, the location is just as stated a 2 minute walk to the beach . The grocery store is a 5 minute drive and there are restaurants in that shopping center. one can walk the neighborhood and enjoy the beauty of the palm trees and massive Oak trees.. The house is small but very well equipped with all the necessities to make your arrival and stay very nice. The porches were where we spent alot of time. The weather was great for our stay. The Host was exceptional. He communicated regularly and was very accommodating. Overall we will consider staying there again.

Family Beach Vacay

We had a great stay at Beth and Loren’s beach cottage. It was the plenty big enough for our family of four with plenty of extra room had we needed it. We traveled with a three year old and a nine month old. The location was just right for a five minute wagon pull over to the beach or a ten minute walk to the shopping plaza to Harris Teeter or some local restaurants. The house itself was very clean and I have to say it’s so nice to take kids to a VRBO rental that isn’t overly cluttered with breakable decor. The only little snafu we ran into was ensuring our three year old who slept upstairs didn’t wake in the night and try to come down the stairs. There is a door at the top of the staircase that opens into the stairwell so we put a childproof cover over the inside doorknob during our stay to prevent any falls. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to traveling families.

Very friendly and accommodating host. IOP was beautiful. We celebrated the 85th birthday of our Aunt who has mobility issues. The city has sand wheelchairs available and she was able to get in the ocean.
